Practiced in the A4
in last 5 minutes went and tried the Honda on default setup and was .45 faster.... hmmmm so went to Q in that
Q went ok
R1 was ok till I hit wall and heard the "Damage unrepairable" but really was just a front wheel missing etc so got to pit and fixed it but the engine died 45 seconds from the end of race...
R2 went well till Ethan and Erling touched in front and Ethan went wide and back into me and dragged me off line to the sand, dropped 3 places but got 2 back in the 3 minutes remaining... no stress Ethan, just racing :)

Thx RD et al!!

was hoping for a better resultat then DNF i first race and 10 in second.

At start i go into chicane with a Honda a littel in front. A bad exit fro the Honda made me move on is outside. A littel touch into turn three and
a hit in the rear from a BMW made it all very diffucult to control the car. Off track and into barrier. Got a "race over, damage not repairably".
Ok that was that, just as Rubens Barrachello 300 grand prix. Over before it as started.
Ok for the drivers involved it that .

Race 2 i start slow and just wait for first turn accident. after that i overtakes cars slowly and end up hitting a car, because the honda driver from race 1. Makes the car in front spin. I tough him and off to the sand again. Last again. but this time i can continue.
After i managed to close the gap again , driver in front has a accident and i am lucky too escape from it.
then i follow a other Honda driver which i managed to go pass. Then on turn 1- 2 i get passed the Alfa and make a very bad exit off turn three.
This makes it all a brake test for turn 4. Lucky i hold the inside line and got the place back. sorry for the accident afterwords.
Drove to finish line in 10 place.

My home track......

Sorry Erling. The Honda driver gave you a bump, you went outside than you overshoot the corner scratching the front bumper of my car when you passed vertically along the track.

It was a fun event.
I've qualified 13th, thinking I have no chance with the Beem. Ariel Domain, Dan Allinson and Bill Jones with insane laptimes, 54 seconds.
Stayed out of trouble with constant race pace, although passed by Simon Gardner two times I think, than Robert Isles. Than it was the Wood brothers (are they brothers?) who where faster so I had to concentrate.
Made it up to 4th. Very Happy.

Second race I had a flying start, I've made it to 1st position and stayed there till lap 15. Szabolcs Hanyik than Rhys Gardner pushed hard to pass the slower beem, but I had a wide bottom and a good exit speed. I've made their life as hard as mine :).
Went to pits, dropped to 2nd place where I finished, under steam by the Wood brothers than Szabolsc.
Congrats Rhys Gardiner who won 2nd race.

Thank you Racedepartment for the event.

Eric i am the same as Rhys why is the TDI band? Have a run in it, i can always set a quicker time in the honda. The only advantage the TDi would have is fuel. I have run the TDi in a few races and it has a very heavy front end and in a grid of 25 people there were only x2 TDi on the grid
so its not a favorite car by a long way.

Drivername: Reggie Blain

I understand the Golden Rules: Yes

I'll test it and see....stay tuned

Than it was the Wood brothers (are they brothers?)
They sure are.

Qualifying: 5th. I screwed up my lap at the first chicane, so I was relieved not to fall back as much as I thought I would.

Race 1: I gained and then lost a place off the start to Terry, and tried my best to hound him for the next few laps. Most of the intervening laps are now a blur, but it all came crashing down when I went to pit, locking my brakes and losing my splitter. I lost a lot of time in the pits due to that. From then on, it was a case of keeping the car on the track (which was very hard indeed, as I stupidly went for fronts, leaving the rear end of the car feeling like it was on ice). I profited from others' misfortune while trying to keep up with Szabolcs, and finished 7th just ahead of Ross.

Race 2: Off the line from 2nd, Aristide got a monster start in the Bimmer and slingshotted past me. I was down in 3rd for a small while watching a battle unfold between Aristide and Szabolcs, but when the latter made a mistake, I found myself trying to chase down Aristide until the pitstop. This time I braked early and went for lefts :)tongue:). It turned out to be the right move, as I found myself in the lead with the car handling like a dream. From then on it was a case of making like Webber at Hungary and just building up a gap. The car felt hooked up like nothing else, and I was rather chuffed at the fact that I was increasing the gap to Aristide by about a tenth a lap. I managed to take an easy victory, my first win at Valer after three tries and possibly the first win anywhere for the little Lada. :D

Thanks to Ryan and RD for the event, and thanks to the competitors for the great racing. I'll be seeing you all same time next week... :)

I had good fun today. Still need to get a litle bit better at seting my car up.

I have to say sorry to Gunthar. The three of us (myself, Gunthar and Erling) were very close for a few laps. Must of being the penultiate lap, I run wide at the first corner and erling slpis past. Then he ran onto the curb on the inside of the next turn and gets sideways. I then get along side him on the outside for the next corner, I brake early to try and get the cut-back. But I didn't notice Gunthar was so close to us, we then touch. I end up spearing off to the right, and then as a passenger I unfortunately take him out while going backwards. Sorry mate.

I need to find that little extra bit that will allow me to push each lap of the race so that I'm not over defending, and actually try and pass people at the end of the race. Anyone able to help, pm me, I will be eternally grateful.
