Race 2: ...Sorry to Gaynall, if I pushed you off the racing line on lap 6, I didn't see you, till you pasted me.
Edit just re-watched the reply and it doesn't look like I did

No, you were OK. :thumb:

Race 1: Ran steady for the most part and because of a few spins from others managed a 3rd.

Race 2: More of the same, but had a big off by myself and slid through the grass on the downhill to the last corner and dropped back to last.

Didn't have to pace of the leaders, but was great fun. What's on for next week?:D

This was one of the most enjoyable times I've had racing here. The track was just Awesome. I was unable however to keep pace with the leaders - Race 1 placed 6th - Race 2 placed 5th after watching some spin off toward the end of the race. Those BMW's are quick on the straights, I could keep up during the turns, even gain a little, but as soon as we got to the straight, my little VW couldn't keep up. Yves, I did go into the 2nd gear too way too hot, I was trying to outbreak you so I could a least keep up with you and Sol, but that spin cost me dearly in race 1. Overall, 2 spins on race 1, 1 spin on race 2.

Someone has to finish in the back. I did have a lot of fun and keep looking forward to the next event. Maybe Detroit Street? Whatever you choose, I will be there. Thanks RACEDEPARTMENT.COM for the fun.

On a side note, my parents were in town and my Dad, looking over my shoulder kept telling me, "wrong gear" - "too fast" - "why are you losing speed on the straight, fix your setup". I had fun driving, and I think he had fun watching us battle it out. It felt like he was watching the races on TV and he thought we all did a good job. Thanks for the wrecker free enviroment again....

See you guys around.
