What is it?

The R3E Racing Club is the place to be for relaxed, friendly racing which is open to all ability levels. The emphasis here is on fun, so it is the perfect environment to learn how to race, improve your race craft, and hone your skills. Social interaction also plays a big part in our club via the forums and on voice chat, so it is a great place to ask questions, trade setups and get tips on technique and other topics.

Unlike racing on public servers, our club races are monitored by RaceDepartment staff, and are covered by a set of simple racing rules to ensure that they remain clean, fair and fun for all involved. Rammers and wreckers don't last long here!

Who can join?

All Premium Members can join our Racing Club events. It doesn't matter if you're a complete rookie or a seasoned pro, you will always find people around your level to battle with on track, and everyone is more than welcome to race with us. So what are you waiting for, get yourself signed up now!

Where do I find the races?

All of our events are listed in the R3E Racing Club forum, on the RaceDepartment Calendar, and in this thread. Those who race with us regularly will also receive an announcement each time a new event is posted.

How do I sign up?

Easy! Just head to the event thread for the race you want to join, and make a post stating your intention to race. You'll be added to the list and are then free to join the event server once it starts.

What's the difference between a single event and a series?

Surprisingly little! Single events use a class and track for one event only, then move on. No results are recorded from one week to the next.

A series is a collection of events using the same class on a number of different tracks. Points are awarded for each race and tracked over the course of the series. At the end of the series the driver with the most points is the "winner"!

However, a series is not like an official league. They remain club events and are therefore open to everybody. It is also not mandatory to take part in a whole series... you can pick and choose your events as usual. The idea is simply to add a little competition for those who want it, while allowing those who don't to just race as normal.

We currently run a monthly rota, meaning one month will feature single events while the next will feature a month-long series. Details of the next series can be found below.
