Check out this substantial live stream and developer Q&A featuring Project CARS 2.

Aired just yesterday, the 90 + minute live stream from Project CARS 2 gives us a nice opportunity to see plenty of in game footage from the new simulation, with play time on both a dedicated racing wheel and gamepad undertaken by Game Director, Stephen Viljoen.

Intended as a first release of a series of 'Developer Live Stream' features, Viljoen and Slightly Mad Studios have focussed plenty of attention on arguably the most often discussed and speculated element of the new game - handling.

With the original Project CARS title coming in for much criticism at the time, SMS have made plenty of noise in recent months about the amount of effort and consideration that has gone into improving the "out of the box" experience for both wheel and gamepad users, practically redesigning the way the game interacts with different controllers in comparison to the original title.

Running in at just over an hour and a half, the new video has plenty of gameplay action to enjoy whilst the guys run through some important discussion around the handling, take some questions from the viewers and generally give players a feel for what the game could be like come release next month,

Just over one month to go, then we get to find out all about it for ourselves. Exciting times ahead...

Project CARS 2 will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC 22nd September 2017.

it's not in there at all, only thing you can choose is multiclass but not what cars in those class
Thx for (bad) Info. Now I remember why I also switched to AC cause we are able to choose the car brands in grid and all skins from the community could use. Last point isn't really solve at the moment, liverys couldn't pre-select in quick races.

We are calm, and people have only pointed out issues, from watching a video / replay.

We are not trashing, we are just mentioning, and you said wasting countless hours, how about us wasting countless £ for something that has not been fixed since pc1, with prmoise after promise that it's been fixed, but they could not fix the original version first?
It's not like you're forced to buy the game before the reviews shows up...

I played pcars 2,and if I recall correct, recommending is not an order but a suggestion,so adjust your tone, thank you

I see no need to adjust my tone dude. I just frigging hate when people think they have any right to tell me what to do. If you don´t like the game - don´t buy it, but don´t condescend the rest of us, believing that you have better insight in what we should do. That´s what makes me sick. I RECOMMEND that you keep your recommendations to yourself brother, and stick to stating what YOU will do.

The problem is if you buy the game and it turns out to be rubbish you cannot get your money back.

Software marketing have a great scam going - force the buyer to accept the terms of agreement and even if your product is unfinished tripe, you get to pocket millions from sales and never have to return a penny.

Add to that biased reviews that do not honestly reflect how rubbish a title is and the scam is complete.

This is especially true for console editions of games - where game makers now make most of their money.

Yes a similar thing happens in other games too, Race07 and R3E for example, the cars "twitch" as the AI take over when crossing the line, however in Pcars2 the cars jump in the air and the Ferrari does a victory wheelie so yes it does "impact the experience" because it looks stupid and crap!
So youre extremely nitpicking? Seriously?
Your live must be very interesting - probably if you order something at McDonalds, you will be like "Oh it doesn't look like on the presentation boards - please make it so" ... I bet you're perfectly styled everday down to the last hair.

Another oddly PC2 biased response.

The twitchy behaviour of the drivers car crossing the line in game does impact user experience. Why defend obviously flawed software?

Pills, now.

Please post proof of that ...
And its still in development - so of course there will be bugs
And which game released bug free? (iRacing huge braking bug,rFactor 2 rain incomplete, Assetto Corsa a lot of unrealistic stuff (ie. gear shifting, too easy drifting), etc.)

Another oddly PC2 biased response.

WTF? Its like rain in rFactor 2. Of course people don't like it looks bad and every windscreen is missing droplets and working wiper. Do you see anyone care?

Flawed? - your opinion (both of you) is totally weird and you're obviously pCARS haters ... because 1 little twitch when crossing the line, no one would not consider it not to buy. This doesn't impact any of your driving, the race is over, its a small visual bug.
I hate people like you, they make elephants out of bugs and use it as excuses for their hatred.

I hope it turns out to be a great title.....For me, I blame Kunos Simulazioni for being upstanding developers and giving me false hope/faith in other studios to do the same in regards to work ethic and quality, which in turn led to me believing that F1 2015, R3E and Pcars might do right by my $DOLLARS$ and instead, I'm still waiting for Codies to fix their embarrassing release, and Pcars to release some much needed bug fixes, and as far as R3E goes well...:(:sick::sick::cry::thumbsdown::sleep:
Sooooo, thanks a lot Kunos, unless your label is on the package, I won't be "pre-purchasing" or "early access" a damn thing anymore!

*Even in my old age, I'm still gullible
Darn it, just realized I pre-purchased the GT3 pack from Rf2

I bought Shift 1, Shift 2, Pcars 1 and they were all terrible to race. So based on these historic failure events im a bit biased about Pcars 2. Just a tiny bit. But...im still hoping...just a tiny bit:)
