can you show me a inside picture during a race or trail, especially from camera with view to halo because the sponsors on the halo are looking in my game very very bad , like pixels only. but the rest is fantastic

They are a bit blurry I cant make them look better because have to make them very little to fit on halo and they loose quality.

He he! Subtle changes between v1 and v2. Nicer, yes! :)

I wish I knew how to add a new sponsor!

Definitely my favorite, though
U can read jburon72 tutorial here: https://whenboredomestrike.wordpress.com/2018/09/15/tutorial-how-to-use-my-3d-models-with-photoshop/

Or look for Krisdix on youtube theres a few tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrLdMMydBf7LTvnFcyZ_lbQ

In those tutorials you will see them make the alpha channel in white you dont need to do this part for the FOM_Car. but you need to make the paint_s.tif wich will make the texture on the car matte or shiny or chrome.

I use photoshop but I believe you can do it with paint.net or Gimp.

You need Ego Arp Archiver lastest version here: (https://ryder25.itch.io/ego-erp-archiver)

Intel DDS plugins for photoshop here:

Nvidia DDS plugins for save as DXT1 format here:

When you finish to add your sponsors on the psd file, with the Intel DDs plugins you save like this with those settings:

DDS1.jpg

Then you need to make the paint_s.tif for car texture. Green for matte, red for shiny and purple or pink for chrome I believe. When it's done you save with the nvidia DDS plugins with those settings:

DDS2.jpg

After with Ego arp archiver you go there:
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\F1 2020\2020_asset_groups\f1_2020_vehicle_package\teams\fom_car\wep\fom_car.erp
And open fom_car.erp.

In the fom_car.erp replace the livery-racenet_01_d.tif and livery-racenet_01_s.tif with yours.

You also need to replace the same textures for myteam_engine name here:
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\F1 2020\2020_asset_groups\f1_2020_vehicle_package\teams\myteam_ (your engine name) and replace livery-racenet_01_d.tif and livery-racenet_01_s.tif with yours again.

I know its a lot at first but I can help if you still dont understand everything.

I think I love you now lol

Absolutely LOVING the fact that you made it so accessible to customize it. It cannot be understated how much it's appreciated. After some trial and error with the DDS plugins, I was able to get it all up and running! Perfect for exactly what you suggested with engine supplier and such!

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but my general livery texture quality is extremely low. Not just from installing this skin, but for all default liveries. I'm running at max settings on PC and can't figure out how to make it look like iv'e seen online. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
