Had a bit of a disaster tonight.

Really sorry about the start of race 2, I was using the launch control for the first time and gave it full throttle off the line. I was under the impression the launch control would take care of things but it just swapped ends. I had done a few practice starts during warmup and it worked great, so I don't really know what happened. Really sorry to those that got taken out, feel terrible.

Launch control does take care of it, so likely it wasn't activated correctly or something. No worries, it happens.

I had a fun race 1, although disastrous. It's a nice track, I enjoyed it, and thanks to the guys on TS for the good company. Thanks everyone for racing!

Good question, I don't know. It felt good to me and I finished 5th so I think it's magic too.

Why don't you start a thread on it I'm sure there are some physics guys that can answer that.

Well, first race for me was a blast. Finished 5th. The second race, the race director had it in for me. Came in three consecutive laps to serve a drive through and got a DQ on the third try. LOL! The game must have wigged out on my machine. See y'all on Wednesday for Stock Car.

Just a note the Vees have launch control, you can map a button to it.

On the start line push the button and hold it (you will see it engages 1st gear)
Press the gas to the max
Wait for the start and release the button and your off. Zooooom away

It will automatically work up the gears until the end of the launch sequence (or when you first shift manually). The gear changes can be a bit abrupt however.

Priority Access
In case of a large amount of sign-ups premium members are given priority access to enter this event. Premium members please sign up at least 24 hours in advance to be given priority; I won't kick a non-premium member off the list if your sign up is late.

Don't forget all the Mini's have launch control, assign a button to it.

On the start line push the button and hold it (you will see it engages 1st gear)
Press the gas to the max!
Wait for the start and release the button and you're off. Zooooom away.
Change to 2nd gear as normal and carry on up the gear box.
