McLaren have been given a suspended three-race ban for misleading stewards at the Australian Grand Prix by motor sport's governing body, the FIA.

I read at F1.com that "This will only be applied if further facts emerge regarding the case or if, in the next 12 months, there is a further breach by the team of article 151c of the International Sporting Code."

So does that mean that they're off the hook unless there's new evidence?

I hardly think the FIA are corrupt. McLaren have just caught doing naughty things, and they paid for it.

The way they are behaving is these kind of case`s is at the least said disputable.
Looking back at the spy case with several teams involved they only punished McLaren with a substantial fine and a finger point towards the other teams.
The incident between Hamilton and Raikkonen at the Belgian GP.
It gives a impression that the FIA is on a crusade against McLaren.
