Join us for another outing in our 'Fixed Thursday' club races, where we put aside the complexities of tuning setups to instead race the best cars that AMS2 has to offer in their default states. This week, we will be doing some high downforce, high power, great fun Prototype cars. Running on Brands Hatch with its great flow of fast and blind corners, getting the best out of you!

Whether you are a rookie racer or a seasoned veteran our casual club races are for everyone and every skill level. We combine fun events with discord chatter and a warm welcome to all our premium members.

I wonder if these cars are similar in performance to LMP3 and the P1 class might be closer to LMP2. I got the idea from the AMS2 cars info site as I didnt know what these cars were.

Yes please! We did a few races with these a while back with Bram and I seem to recall they were fairly evenly matched.

The P2 was definitely the bestests of best cars

Mostly because it's DRS was/is bugged and you had it everywhere.

So a quick headsup for everyone. The P1 is still it's buggy self, you get two or three laps with good grid and then the tyres just give up. DRS works everywhere but doesn't give you much of an advantage after some testing and the chances of loosing grip in high speed corners is even higher.

Haven't tested the P1's tyres yet with the X2 tyre wear we use but it will probably be quite a challenge to drive.

Hi Ernie. You are free to choose the car you want. There is the option for a nice cabrio drive or a closed car that protects against wind and rain

it's just a steam thing - you go to the friends section in the steam client and then enter the code to find and add them. I never normally bother, but the Time Trial feature in AMS2 allows you to filter on friends only, so I figured it might be helpful for when we practice a track to share ghosts etc..
