Softs are likely a good choice, weather temperature wont be too high and there are a lot of straights to cool the tires. I don't know very much about it unfortunately, but the server will be up within next 10 mins, so you can join and practice before official sessions.

Normally when I see that blue flag ( which I often do ) I pull well out of the way; but in this case where you have LMP 1 cars against gt2 cars, do I just maintain my racing line and let the faster cars sort out overtaking !

This is a good example on how to manage traffic. See how all the other GT2 cars keeping their line and LMP car is trying to find its way through.

Always hold your line. That way you're predictable.

I haven't got enough experience in AC to know otherwise, but I'm surprised that a pit stop may be needed. 50-55 minutes tends to be the rule of thumb for a maximum stint length.

Yeah, if you're on the outside of a corner, stay there until they're past. The LMP1's are best on the exit of slow corners with the boost, so if you're followed through, stay clear on the exit, they'll soon disappear into the distance.

49 Laps for LMP1 should make it an hour, and approximately 40 laps for GTE, maybe fewer.

It was fun tonight!! Shame that so many people didnt saw up or left during practice :/
it was fun though, even if 1 pit stop strategy didnt pay off (as i would like to...)

Attached some screenshots of the battle for what at the time was 2nd place, but would become the lead after the pit stops. I felt very much like the Corvette cork in a BMW bottle.
