Great looking video
my favourite iRacing vid, again by stabiz
That last video made me want to go drive the skip!
Stabiz is making some really nice videos :thumb:
This guy is in a league of his own. I have tried recording iracing footage but it gets worse and worse after every try.
That video is nothing short of superb!
OK....so like, how on earth did he manage to make the game look like that? I mean, it looks VERY photorealistic! Seems he changed the lighting to give it a very real life look to it and I swear if I had turned on a cable channel on TV and seen certain parts of this footage I would think I was literally watching some race car show.
Can the game actually look like this vid with certain tweaks? Perhaps a certain hue setting in your videocard?
Outlap around Silverstone.
I know I will be spending alot of time with this car.
Couple of mine from today
Thanks alot Simon, you just made my work day seem so much longer.
Sorry, will an MX-5 one be better?
These cars are fast no need to slow down the straight. I couldnt react fast enough to avoid the crash.
BTW: how can I get my vids to be widescreen format?
You have to run iRacing in wide screen format while capturing (guess also must have widescreen monitor for that)
with Fraps. I do have widescreen and also when playing the video locally it works fine but when I upload to Youtube I get those black bars on the side.
What resolution are you recording/saving the video at?
James, I am recording with the default res 1680 by 1050.
That'll explain the black bars. You would need to record at a 16:9 resolution to avoid that - then make sure the final video is also like that.
