importing .GMT files with 3DSIMED. An important question

Sorry, I have a problem with 3DSIMED tool. I tryed to import a .GMT file from a .MAS archive [a car's body (body.gmt) that I have already extracted with 3DSIMED (expand command) ]. But when I open the .gmt file (in 3DSIMED)... there is nothing! 3DSIMED shows there is nothing!. What is the problem? With other .gmt files, this does not happen. Why? HELP ME...

It sound to me as the .gmt is locked. if all you are getting is the lines in simed then it is locked. you need to unlock it with some tools. I cant give you the web site to get them as RD does not let you post any thing that might let you use others work sorry
