I thought it's more about graphics and lack of VR. The content is great, the cars of AMS are very interesting overall. GT3 is available as good quality (ECC) mod, which is quite common and used online too

I like the tracks of AMS too. Who doesn't get bored by the same eternal Monza, Spa, Silverstone

GTR3 will be arcade, confirmed by developers. Nice screens, but I see nothing to be hyped about. Combining GT3 and arcade physics is like combining 2 most boring things on earth

ACC already does GT3, and it's a simulation
Real GT3 drive almost as an arcadegame. Otherwise those gentlemen drivers would end up in the barriers. These cars cost rougly half a million euros. Thats why they come with ABS and TC.
So physics should not even have to be so far off in the end.
I would not be suprised if there is a pretty decent hard/pro setting available in the end.

Make believe screenshots. Photoshopped from RRE. Imho.

oh yeah and I almost forgot, more GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3GT3

joke, only interested in simulations, but I believe fans will like this game for a while :)

What today came to my mind: Where's the niche for this game? If it's just "below" simulators, than it's like Project CARS 2, if it's a little bit arcadier than it's like Gran Turismo Sport/Forza Motorsport 7, if its focus is on action then there's the new GRID coming out this autumn. Also, if I was doing a game made for simcade players, I would rather go for a "buy a street car, be also able to put a realistic racing kit on it" approach like the SHIFT titles did.

I know but I was thinking that GTR3 is targeting a specific championship. Why not target a championship other than GT3?

One of the distinctive features of GTR3 and, also GRID, will be some kind of single-player career mode.
Why not have a single-player career mode game focusing on something other than GT3?

R3E has WTCR cars and tracks but no career mode. GTR3 could be R3E cars and tracks with a career mode. I, for one, would be interested in that.

It takes time to make perfect, which is why AC and ACC were released too early, Kunos wanted your money, that's the reason why early access released 2 times, sorry.

GTR3 will be ready when it is released, no early access bs, thanks. November 1 2019 is the official release date. Just be patient, you already have so many sims but nothing like this :)
