GPLM - Part V : Age of Champions (1980-89)

GPLM Question
As we now achieve almost half of the game, I wanted to ask you if you'd like to see a new upgrade/buys system ? It would replace the "number + Technology" system we are currently using.
I was working on a different game and on a different system for months now and it could actually work pretty well on GPLM too. Problem is that we can't test it before actually using it. I could explain it in details but it's always better to run a bunch of seasons to see really if it's working with human behavior (instead of AI).

• Love - Sure i'd like a new system ! I'm tired of those numbers.
• Like - Why not but the current system is still good and working properly. If you want to test this new system then launch your new game or a test session. Then we could decide if it's a good idea or not.
• Sad - No, the current system is still good and working properly. When GPLM will be over you will be able to launch a new game with the system you like.

!!! GPLM Rules announcement !!!
The little poll I made last week about evolution of the number system was quite clear. It said for almost everyone "test it somewhere else before putting it in the game". Jim was the only one to say "wait for the end of the game to try something new". So I understand that you're happy with the way it currently works. I'm happy too to have found something that indeed works pretty well
So I'll see in the future what I'll do about that, I have different games ideas, F1 oriented or not.. I can easily wait.
Anyway, even if indeed the system works, there's still one thing that annoys me : the yo-yo from-champion-to-worst-to-champion. @pierre815 with Resnais has become a specialist and it seems like it's almost impossible to get two titles in a row if the first one is not a rampage and you actually "have space" between you and your first opponent. IMO, if someone becomes champion he should slowly drop to the midfield but not become the worst team just the year after. So ! To prevent the extreme yo-yo movement, and to create more "rotation" between you I'll add a tiny rule :
If you become WDC and/or WCC, you won't be allowed to build a new car during the off-season market that follows your title. You'll have to wait at least one market (so 4 races) to create a new chassis.
This new rule will only apply at the end of the 1988 season and not our current 1987 season.
