With Damon Hill winning in Melbourne he is only the third driver to get a win on his debut for Ferrari. The other two drivers were Elio de Angelis and Alain Prost.

Btw.: Neither Fangio (8 seasons) nor Ascari (4 seasons) who, together with Prost and Senna, were the defining drivers of the team, managed to win the first race of the season. And they both drove during the most successfull era of Ferrari.

Thrilling season indeed.
Honestly, i did not expect that we would perfom as good as we did. At best maybe the first three races, but even with these results i was more than surprised.
Congratulations on the drivers title! That was well deserved for sure!

I heard that Schumacher is thinking of switching to a new team, after Ferrari has been on the rise once again.

The idea is actually so confusing, that I am also still trying to figure out what we did. P.S. I only cared for Schumi, I want him to get the titles, so now when he is yours I have no reason to win, and I will just camp around Tier2-3.
