F1: Toro Rosso Set to Field Naoki Yamamoto in Suzuka

I don't get all the dislike for Toro Rosso' decision simply because Honda may have chosen to reward him. This happens in F1 all the time...with little more than a fleeting glance.
Is the negativity because you folks feel Honda is wielding too much influence...or is it because you believe a Japanese driver should not get time in an F1 car at the 'expense' of a regular driver.
Help me to understand, because I'm not seeing the logic behind the stance.
