Russia Results:
1. Cro_Nexus vs. HRacingGreen : no further action ( 3 - 0 )

There was a lot of hard racing during the Russian GP and it seems that Nexus and HRacing shared a lot of track together. There is nothing in any of these videos that warrant a penalty and the stewards unanimously agreed.

This entire inquiry is something that could have and should have been discussed between the two parties privately. I have no problem saying that some of these steward inquiries as a whole are starting to become a joke recently.

Good luck to all at Japan. Please think about what you are submitting before sending silly incidents to the stewards. Remember the culture of what this league represents because lately some of these steward reports are coming from people who are taking this way too seriously.

I'll be watching!

Race Report:
Qualifying - P13
Was planning on qualifying on supers but after seeing the times people were doing on the harder compounds I decided against it.

Race - P9
Didn't make any ground at the start was at the back of the train. When the guys in front had their incident I got a yellow for the split second I overtook Thomas and got an illegal overtake. I gave the position back as didn't want to serve it at the pit stop but probably shouldn't have done as I was stuck behind a train with a damaged Martijn at the front of it. Got lucky with the VSC, got past Alex a few laps later and then nothing much happened till the end.

Smaller grid and smaller entrants in the picks this week. Martijn takes his 2nd win of the season.

Japan Results:
1. Martijn Boontje : 16pts
2. Andrew Wood : 14pts
3. Daniel Newcombe : 11pts
- Alex Krois : 11pts
5. Hasnain Aslam : 10pts
6. Ben Goldie : 9pts
7. Thomas Jonsson : 7pts

Individual Round Wins:
Thomas Jonsson - 3 (Australia, Bahrain, Baku)
Alex Krois - 3 (tie - Monaco, Belgium, Italy)
Hasnain Aslam - 3 (Spain, Austria, Singapore)
Andrew Wood - 2 (France, Hungary)
Daniel Newcombe - 2 (China, Russia)
Martijn Boontje - 2 (tie - Canada, Japan)

Ben Goldie - 1 (tie - Monaco)
Michael Fleming - 1 (tie - Canada)
Jake Taylor - 1 (Britain)
Luke Cage - 1 (Germany)

Season Standings :

1. Daniel Newcombe : 169pts
2. Martijn Boontje : 167pts
3. Andrew Wood : 163pts
4. Ben Goldie : 157pts
- Hasnain Aslam : 157pts
6. Thomas Jonsson : 147pts
7. Jake Taylor : 145pts
8. Alex Krois : 140pts
9. Michael Fleming : 135pts
10. Dawid Wisniewski : 126pts
11. James Ratiff : 106pts
12. Luke Cage : 60pts
13. Andrea Cecchini : 48pts
14. Brandon Jackson : 33pts
15. Fredrik Hahlin : 29pts
16. Jerry Moorrees : 13pts

Standings updated after round 17 - Japan
Sean takes over the lead from Micheal! Championship fight is not yet over. Mitchell has an awesome comeback after his worst result of the season in Russia, claiming the win at the Japanese GP, reclaiming 3rd from Alex in the standings. Meanwhile Ben overtook Dawid and Jake again, after loosing the places in the previous races. Ben also took the fastest lap of the race, congrats.
