Historic Formula 1 1974 season liveries for Formula Retro Gen 1.

After years of modding, mostly for myself and friends, in Assetto Corsa and MotoGP games adding tobacco and liqour liveries I wanted to give it a try for Automobilista 2.
Thanks Reiza for giving us the opportunity! I started with the 1974 Lotus liveries in the game, changing colours and adding the sponsors.
During the search for photos I came across all sort of liveries from 1974 and one thing led to another.

Thanks for your message and feedback. I'll dig into it a little more and do my best. I started with this car and I remember that I found several pictures that ranged from bright yellow to more golden.

First of all congrats to bring back this spetacular season! Very good quality the liveries!
How can I use the Ferrari livery? I extracted all the file into the Automobilista 2 folder and there are some skins missing including the Ferraris. Are you still working on it or I made something wrong when extracted these files?

I also had the same problem, the ferrari skins are in the folders just not in game. but the other liveries are brilliant

Thanks! And don't worry, there's no problem. You can choose the skins you want, but you have to alter the xml-file yourself. I've send you a PM on how to do this.

Here is a big update. A lot of new liveries and I think I've got the most, if not all, of the liveriesd from 1974 in this update.

Note:
Two sponsor decals of which I’m not completely sure because I can’t find a clear enough picture. If someone can help me with these I will update them for sure:

  Unknown small pay-off on the ‘Brooklyn” logo.
• Dalton-Amon International - Chris Amon # 22
  Unknown logo on Engine air intake.

Why are Ferraris V8s and Tyrells V12s when in real life Ferraris were V12s and Tyrells had the V8 Cosworth (just a couple of examples I know, probably there are more similar inconsistancies). Does it has to do with the bodyworks?

Exactly. I wanted to keep the look and feel of the cars from 1974 as much as possible. Because the V8 and V12 cars are 'fictional' I decided that the shape of the bodywork was key to achieve this rather then the actual engine in the model. Sadly I couldn't do both, so I had to make a choice.

Your decision makes a lot of sense. I hope they provide some kind of support to fix this issue in the future, its probably the only thing I would change.

Here's a big update with a lot of cars that have been updated. I've also included a V12 version of the Ferrari. Added helmets and an updated version of the CustomAIDrivers file.

thank you for your hard work
say, is there a chance to have some "light" version, cause I feel (and maybe I'm not the only one) that we don't need all those liveries and drivers we didn't ever heard of
so maybe some 24-26 drivers with ONE skin (he used the most from '74 season)
