Geat Mod. New version is magic.

The Capri's E tyres wear out quicker than the other Div 1 cars. Shame spoils a 60 min race.

Seems the only chance the Capri has got is in a short sprint race on a twisty circuit

Not tested all of them but just noticed on one of the RMT 121 3 that the LOD on the headlights are a bit off. In replays you constantly see them change when the car gets closer to the camera's position.

I havent played the DRM mod for quite a while so I'm unfamiliar with all the cars, but having just installed v1.31 after deleting v1.3, I'm down to 18 cars from 20. Am I missing 2 cars?

I have seen this with several cars watching replays sinec I finally got my hands test driving the v1.31 update today - I will comment more details once I have definitely locked down which cars.

I have seen the BMW M1 being especially problematic as with lower LODs headlights are switched off and only in its highest LOD will headlights be rendered as active.

I believe the other car that had strongly visible changes in headlight appearance between LODs was the BMW 2002.

The Toyota headlights look a bit off as they lack the beautiful soft rendering most of the cars have now.

The Porsche 935 K3 headlights as seen from the cockpit definitely have too much of a red colour tinge.

These are all very small issues and easily fixable in future updates, nothing major.

I love the overall look a lot and especially the visibly increased quality of the newest models (the BMW Flachbau looking exceptionally good!). The fixes and updates are good!

I hope to see future content and don't be shy to ask for money. My money is always good for any future DRM Revival content!

we are in the middle of a 10 week DRM championship right now were we race every other weekend. Doing DRM at Okayama this coming weekend. Saturday is open to all, sunday you need to have been assigned a class already (which you can get from saturdays race)

I would like to join as well but I can't make the Saturday race I'm afraid. Sunday would be fine.

Thanks very much for the friendly welcome (back).
Finally there is some proper Group 5 race action on again (I missed racing these cars competitively sooo much).
I am looking very much forward to a race weekend with these wonderful machines.

I'm really surprised, I just bought this mod after seeing so many good feedback here and I honestly don't think that the physics are anywhere close to the ones available for Raceroom. :(
It's the first time I wish I could get a refund on a mod...

I would advice running at least several laps to get tires/brakes up to temps before any judgement, tbh I'm still not really digging effect of cold tyres, they behave more like bias-ply tires over that period.
And to be brutally honest, I still think that rf1's version of the mod had more natural, more believable handling overall, there were no moments when car did something unexpected and you're scratching your head over that.
But in the AC version what i really dig is that chase for the limit once tires are up to temps, and that constant play with momentum, to keep the boost in the high range. Reminds me a bit of constant hunting for momentum in the 4-stroke karts.

If you cannot get the tyres switched on your going to struggle. If you are also 4 secs off the pace you are going to struggle cause you cannot get tyres to switch on. If the track temps are low it is even harder. Try using them with high track temps and see how you go. The tyres cool down quickly compared to Kunos model also. Then you will find the brake balance changes as you drive them from front to rear

For all I know @dmatzies and his team have rather extensively researched the handling of the cars,
and the mod in its current 1.31 revision seems very very refined to me.

I actually love it how there is no grip when the tyres are cold, with the steering kind of wobbly and the cars reluctant to turn and unable to cope with the boost from the turbo. But with the temp and pressures slowly rising, the steering stiffens, car gets more and more responsive, and after 2 laps or so, you can finally put the power down, and throw these monsters around like there's no tomorrow.

If I were allowed to only ever have one car mod installed, it would probably be this DRM revival mod!
Imho, this is, all things considered, the best car mod available for AC (besides the RSS GT1 cars):)
