ACC Club British GT series​

This is the place to be for friendly GT3 racing open to everybody with a premium account from rookies to the seasoned pros. You will always find people around your level to battle with, so jump on in! If you need any help then don't hesitate to PM me or post on this thread.

Although it's a series with points to be scored you can take part in as many races as you like.

You will need the British GT DLC pack to join the majority of rounds

The Calendar

Key Points

*Practice server - non premium members will need to PM me for the password and keep it to themselves. This will give you a chance to come and say hi and see what it's all about

Sessions
20:00 BST / 19:00 UTC 30 minute practice
20:30 BST / 19:30 UTC 15 minute qualifying
20:45 BST / 19:45 UTC 1 Hour race
*Round 5 will start slightly earlier - 2 hour race*

PRO or AM?​

If you can't decide if you would fall in to the Pro or Am category here is a rough guide from one of our previous events.

Monza - qualifying
Pro: 1:48.9 - 1:50
Am: 1:50 - 1:54

The practice server will be live leading up to the shakedown event and you can change your category before the first race if needed.

Points and Pitstops​

Point scoring still needs to be finalised.

Best 4 scores count so if you miss an event you can take a drop without taking a hit.

A pitstop will be mandatory requiring a tyre change to be classed as valid. No pit stop window, pit whenever you like.

Success ballast is no longer an option due to Kunos limiting it to 30kg which makes next to no difference.

Hey, yep you can use a custom livery. See this post by @JohannS on one of our other events. If Johann is happy to put livery packs together for the British GT series this will be the way to submit it.

Yes, I definitely will make livery packs for this series
Here is the response from the rookie event:
Sick of the standard pale in-game editor liveries? Want to show off your custom livery instead? Then I'm your guy
To be able to see each other's liveries, I'm creating livery packs for race days or events.
If you want to share your livery to be part of the livery pack, just send me a PM with the download link or the file directly attached. To make this job easier, it would be great if you could put package (WinRAR, 7zip) the Cars and Liveries folders, e.g.:

• Cars folder
  • car.json
• Liveries folder
  • Livery name folder
    • decals.png
    • decals.json
    • sponsors.png
    • sponsors.json

This format is not necessary (I'll figure it out ), but would accelerate the process greatly.
