  • Added damage, dangling parts & dirt map for Fusca (all variants)

Notes from the developer:

IMPORTANT! The latest physics modifications to GT3 / GT4 cars require a setup reset to default in setup UI to take effect - no need to delete all your settings, just go into the setup screen and click "Reset to Default" when choosing any of the new GT3 / GT4 cars added in v1.0.5.0 (other cars haven´t had setup range changes so shouldn´t need a reset).

IMPORTANT! As previously announced, with the release of the Nurburgring DLC Pack, the Nurburgring layouts included in the previous update are now only available for owners of the DLC or the packages that include it.

Our next game update towards the end of the month will add layouts combining variants of the modern track with the Nordschleife. Next year we also plan to include an historical version of the track to this pack, with no additional charge to those that already own it.

I'm sure they will, but its still a bit disappointing. Tracks added to the game for free I can understand been a bit rough around the edges on release as they are finished and polished as and when the time and resources allow.
And if they'd delayed the update then there would have been people screaming about that.
The track is beautiful to drive everything else is just window dressing.
A few years ago racers would have bitten your hand off for a good nords, now we have several and can look forward to this one getting better.

AMS 2 the real boucing simulator :D
I don't know what more sad, the fact that this is still a thing or hearing people saying that this is a totaly normal behavior...
Not sad surely a matter of perception.
I've only used the cup car but it didn't seem to have any bouncy issues, I'll try the 911 tomorrow.
Nords is a pretty bouncy track.

Good first effort at the Nordschleife.
I'm amazed at how well it looks and runs on an old 4GB Zotac GTX770.
Reiza continue to push the thing forward...and that is a good thing.
Since it is relatively new, I'll give AMS2 a bit more latitude to maneuver in terms of getting content to market to up their revenue.
Eventually, Reiza too...will need to pause and re-visit the chassis roll and bump frequency.
Many of the cars currently released, exhibit too high of a frequency when negotiating bumps and in those instance of off track excursions.
The chassis need more mass to counter that effect.
Many of the car's movements look un-natural as viewed externally because of it.

It is correct. The Cup cars and the GT4 are bouncy as hell in real life. You need to know how to drive them. I've done some laps with the cup car and didn't have such problems like in the video.

I drove the Porsche Cup car on Oulton Park and it is still much too bouncy to my liking. If this is the car‘s real behaviour, than all other sims just have it wrong. Also drove the M1 around the Nordschleife, which is great fun. The FFB I am getting is very good on my ‘low-end’ G27. This has become my number 2 sim now, after rF2. And knowing Reiza... things will only get better!

Well, the thing is the GTX 770 is still a pretty decent card. So it should run ok :)

The card is a stop-gap pending a new 6800XT or what ever is comparable at that price-point.
That I have every setting in AMS turned to ultra and still have fluid motion is impressive.
AMS2 looks really good with it....heck! even ACC runs great with it.
I'm darned surprised, if not a little bit confused.

I keep bouncing cars a lot, especially the porsche gt3. I have tested it in Adelaide and it may be a bumpy circuit, but on replay the AI cars don't bounce as much ... Maybe this has not been fixed in this update? (The truth is that I have only seen a mention of the damping for the caiman). Maybe you have to change the settings? Although I have tried different ...
Otherwise I love how the game is progressing! The AI is much better, the handling, apart from the damping, is great, the appearance is spectacular ...

You're just over driving it, if it bounces like crazy. Lift the throttle before Hills or bumps and you're good to go.

The Porsche Cup can have all kinds of suspension setups depending of the series. So far the Reiza-Cup is rather made for flat circuits like Siverstone. The Porsche Cup from Manthey for the Nordschleife is equipped with an adjustable KW four-way suspension and I hope we get something like that as well in the future. The Cayman GT4 is also using a different suspension setup from KW for the (former) VLN than the one in the game with far lower spring-rates. I guess the default suspension sucks and afaik Porsche supplies both cars with the same (noname) sh**.

I agree. This is not normal behavior at all. After this kind of driving, there really should be no suspension left to bounce off of.

Came back to AMS2 after a long pause because of the Nordschleife. Tried it with GT4 Porsche. I just jumped and bounced off the track at Brünnchen. I'd like to ask my mechanic where are my dampers :)

Also: I can't find where to bind buttons for in-car TC/ABS-settings.
