ACC graphics settings help

Can anyone help with the graoic settings for ACC. At 1080p the game looks average but any higher settings I cannot get good framerate. I have a Gtx 1060 and intel i7 2600 CPU @ 3.40ghz. I know its not the fastest rig. I know its ACC is beta but just looking of some advise. Thanks

Limited the frame rate to 62 because my monitor refreshes just over 60hz when using a refresh tester.

That must be creating periodic microstutter. And BTW, you can limit to exact decimal values in the latest versions of Afterburner.

I have i7 6700k, GTX1080i and a BenQ 3203 Curved 32" monitor. The game looks good and I'm running with default graphics but is there any to get rid of white line flicker especially on the start/finish grid lines.

Nothing comes to mind apart from making sure the temporal AA is on and possibly upping the resolution scaling.

Thanks Martin, resolution is on 110 I think, should I go higher? Anything in nvidia control panel to try?

That depends on your GPU's performance. Try more and see how it holds up.

It's a strange one, I didn't seem to notice much difference when I increased the resolution. I've reset to default and I'll leave it I think, it's more noticeable on nurburg but I don't want to get hung up about it.

Could you explain further what yoh mean by white line flicker?
Like lines that are thick enough to not flicker die to resolution/anti aliasing going on/off like lod or z fighting or texture popping or do you just mean thin borders/lines crawling/flickering when the camera/car moves?

Do you have the AA set to temporal and epic? Fxaa will always flicker under movement and temporal at anything below epic will be crap basically.
Also very little performance impact...

No idea what the default graphics settings are (and sadly no default button available, only deleting the config file...).
It's either normal aliasing flickering although you should see that in other games to the same amount from my experience (I'm hugely annoyed by aliasing flicker!).
Or it is some texture flickering which would be caused by the graphics settings like textures, filtering, view distance etc.

I'll just drop you my graphics settings. I'm on 27" height 3440x1440. A bit more dpi but apart from aliasing flickering, it should be gone with my settings. I don't have these issues!

I think you're right, you do see it other games as well. I'd like to have a look at your settings though please.

I just use the steam fps counter and have it in the bottom left corner..

I don't run any 3rd party apps that I don't need, which is why I want native, but thanks.

Yes. You can switch off the overlays and stuff if you don't need it, which I don't, and after Kweel's post still don't.

Surely you don't run every game you play with an annoying FPS counter showing all the time.
