AC RC issue: Game Crash by start button

So I played 1.0 RC till about 2am, shutdown my PC and went to bed.
Went to play today and now I can get the race loaded, I can edit my car in the garage, etc. but as soon as I hit the "Drive" button to enter the race, my wheel jerks like I hit a wall and the game crashes.

Happens on all track/car/session type combinations that I've tried. I googled the crash message and only found one hit on the steam forums with a person back in March having the exact same issue, but there were no responses.

Anyone got any ideas? Here is the crash log:

Well first a couple questions: did you do a clean install? Also have you verified your steam game cache?

If not I would try both of these first.

All set now - I had to just blow away the Documents/Assettocorsa folder. I was messing around with the visuals quite a bit before bed last night, must have borked something...

And delete the My Documents/ Assetto Corsa file too, there may be something in the game settings causing it.

Edit, nevermind, I see the OP already found the problem.
