It's one of the most enjoyable I've seen in years. Despite the panic and negative press coverage here in the UK before the start Russia has done itself proud.

Absolutely. I was all for boycotting the competition as a protest against Russian poitics, but it seems to me that the positivity created by the people of Russia is overpowering the negativity of the polititians. They should feel very proud of themselves

It was a game of fails. Not the quality you expect from a final match, to be honest.

The best tournament for ages as far as I'm concerned.
Well done France and what guts and determination from Croatia.
Russia disproved all the negativity that went on before it began and were excellent hosts.
Now England vs India beckons, hope it's as exciting.

Late here...

My favorite was Germany, but their performance disappointed me. France was good. They deserved to be the final winner. Their players are talented and had good teamwork. Also, admired their coach. Though my fav teams didn't do that well, I didn't regret time spent watching just about all the matches. Even gave up my time playing on my love mantigames and finishing one TV series to fully immerse myself into WC Good memories
