racing in mini looks fun but I can't get out of rookies
My advice, don't focus on your finishing position. Focus on finishing with zero accidents or off-tracks. Hitting cones and markers during Quali and the race will also impact your safety rating.

The multiplayer is still in BETA. There's plenty of time and races to break through to the intermediate class :)
