KW Studios is not stopping the droves of new content coming regularly to RaceRoom Racing Experience. Today's release sees the anticipated WTCR 2022 charge the grid.

The new pack features all new liveries from the IRL WTCR racing series in 2022. If you are missing WTCR from the previous years, you can also buy yourself all of the following vehicles now:
  • HYUNDAI ELANTRA TCR 2022
  • HONDA CIVIC TCR
  • CUPRA LEON COMPETICIÓN
  • AUDI RS 3 LMS 2021
  • LYNK & CO 03 TCR
All these touring cars are sporting multiple liveries according to their real-life outings.

For owners of all these beautiful tourers, you only need to spend 400 vRP or about 3,99€ for this entire pack. If you do not own anything, you will be looking at 1899 vRP or 18,95€.

What is Next for RaceRoom?

After this release, next up should be the DTM 2022 pack. However, it would be surprising if that includes any new cars. Even though, the BMW M4 GT3 and Lamborghini Huracán GT3 are still missing from the racing simulator.

Furthermore, the leaked trucks pack from the previous FR X-22 update should be upcoming at some point. We don't know when that would be, however.

The final piece of content many are waiting for is the update for Zandvoort, which was teased during the FR X-22 campaign as well.

The release point for any of these remains to be seen, however.

I've got all the WTCC and WTCR car packs up to and including 2019, but with only three of the nine tracks of the current championship available I don't see a genuine reason to spring for the latest iteration.
I don't know if it would be financially feasible, but it would be nice to see Raceroom add some recurring circuits that were missing from previous years such as Moulay El Hassan, Vila Real, Termas de Rio Hondo and Losail.
After all, these touring car classes are some of the standouts of this particular sim.

I have the BTCC cars in RF2 and all the R3 Touring cars up until 2020... what is the added value from this pack?

It also seem they also did AI for good... I mean the fastest drivers in the championships are well represented when playing offline, unlike some older WTCC mods or the DTM 2021 where all Audi drivers seems to have the skills of Latifi

Glad you noticed :)

Or - "not buying until the in-game portal shows my stats again!".

The Hyundai Elantra and the 2022 liveries.
Since three of the 2022 cars are 2020 models I imagine you'd get a large discount on the new set (I believe WTCR 2022 would cost me a little over €12, but I don't own the 2020 versions).

Also a new Audi, the 2021/22 is not the same as 2020.
so it is the new Elantra and updated Audi

Just had a race with AI on Brands Indy and has the aggression been turned up? Leading into final corner on final lap Lynk & Co tapped me and put me sideways was like a proper touring car race but most enjoyable ive had it for a long time
