Forza Monthly Roundup | August 2022

Another month, another Forza Monthly! Once again, we get the latest news regarding everything Forza. Unfortunately, this month Forza Motorsport 2023 eluded the viewers again.

Forza Horizon 5 News

This Monthly was purely focused on Forza Horizon 5.

Content Update: Rami's Racing History

The theme for this series is all about the history of racing. There are 4 different periods featured:
  • pre-1970s (Summer)
  • 1970 - 1989 (Autumn)
  • 1990 - 2009 (Winter)
  • 2010 - present (Spring)
During the events, you will be able to hear a voiceover telling you about the era you are currently racing.

Even though this will be very superficial, people new to the world of gearheads might be able to get some great new insights into some of the most exciting eras of racing.

A new Horizon Story called "Made in Mexico" will also be available, all about cars made in Mexico.

New Content this FH5 Series

  • Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR
  • BMW M4 2021
  • Porsche 550A Spyder
  • HDT VK Commodore 1985
  • Subaru Legacy RS 1990
  • Xpeng P7
  • BMW E92 M3 GTS

I Suppose No News on Forza Motorsport 2023 is Good News NOT, I hope its not another Vaporware? We will have to wait another month to see.

after the lackluster presentation of FM at not-E3 i was expecting them to feed us some more information over the coming months, but absolutely nothing has happened since then.
for some reason i don't have high hopes for FM's new entry, i feel like they showed so little actual cars and driving in the presentation that it begs the question in what state the game even is at this point in time. And it has been by now 5 yrs since FM7.
they showed a river, falling leaves and an m8 gte stuck in 3rd gear at 100mph? weird stuff... and that's supposed to be their reboot of the series? they for sure did not come out with a bang on this one.
i dont get it how so many thought this was the best showing of not-E3. to me it was one of the most underwhelming.
