RaceRoom | Circuit de Charade Trailer Released + Crosslés in Action

Today, RaceRoom released a new trailer for their 'Driver's Pack' set to release this month. It showcases the new race track, Circuit de Charade as well as the 2 new Crosslé additions.

While showcasing the great elevation changes of the track in the outliers of the French alps, both Crosslé cars in this pack get shown as well.

Even though some of the colour effects on the video are questionable, it doesn't deter from the action-packed track that will be making its debut in modern sim racing games. Truly, the track awaiting RaceRoom gamers is like a compact version of the Nordschleife.

Little runoff and awe-inspiring elevation changes bring forth the comparison to the most famous and maybe even infamous race track in Germany at least, if not even Europe.

While the circuit is getting a great showcase in this video, details about the new cars don't come too short too.

The 'Driver's Pack' included Crosslé 90F, for example, receives a great showing of the dash, confirming all suspicions: it is a driver's car without too many assists.

Finally, a good show of both the Crosslés' seemingly well-developed suspension travel allows for some wobbly-goodness shots, showcasing the strengths of RaceRooms' ageing engine.

The 'Driver's Pack' is set to release in December of 2022. If RaceRooms' standard DLC practice is to be believed, you will be able to purchase each of the packs' content separately as well. The free base game of RaceRoom will of course be required to play this content.

Thank you anthony monteil for the little details you provide us (and your youtube channel), they help to understand the work and choices behind your work and it's really nice to not just be ignorant consumers but dive a bit behind the scene.
KW staff is active in forums and explains a lot of decisions and technical aspects, it's a very nice interaction to have with the community.

Now concerning the pack to come, I for one feel very lucky that Raceroom offers something different than other racing games.
Being french makes me enjoy hidden gems that I personnaly know (like Charade or Nogaro) even more I won't lie.
But it's not just local tracks, I think we underestimate how wide and original is the selection of tracks and cars in Raceroom.
I mean come on people, we are going to get a no-aero single seater, basically the go-to car to learn proper driving, the prototype alternative for easier access yet similar fun driving and a very flowing and challenging track, new to the sim-racing world.
That's the kind of stuff I want to see in this hobby!

Sure in some aspects R3E could be updated (and I hope it will be) but racing sims are about racing and with a really nice adaptative AI, a simple to use ranked online service, nice close fights due to forgiving contact physics, a good FFB and a wide array of cars and tracks, I firmly believe that we are very lucky to have this sim and if you don't play it already, you should try it out. :)

Why do you place me in your message? What is the connection? I say exactly the same thing as you in my messages. I wanted to know how it collects data from a track...lol
I may missunderstood, asking for data seemed you have doubts 1nd needed evidence. Glad that we agree then.

Outdated graphics, no change of day and night, rain, hud and many other things.

But every time I go in, I forget all that - great cars, great tracks, great ffb. Glad for the vintage series. I hope Group 2 gets bigger someday.
Don't worry, I'm pushing hardly for more Group 2 cars :D . Actually, we planned more Group 2 cars since a very long time, but so far only the Scirocco made it to release, due to a lack of time/ressources and others contents priorities in the way. But we have a lot more vintage cars in our plans for sure ;)

As someone who drives a vintage formula ford and grew up around a 16F(the original for the 90F), this makes me very happy! We currently are restoring a 6F, maybe one day Crossle will get more attention.

Now that you say it, there is something wrong with the rankings, I can see my results in ranked mode, but my statistics are at 0 since I started to play, do you know how I can change that?

So the Crosslé Formula is actually a Formula Ford? :D
