Kunos Simulazioni has been unveiling the cars of the ACC GT2 Pack step by step in recent weeks. The Italian studio is looking to release the new vehicles with its upcoming DLC on January 24. Six new sets of wheels have been confirmed, with most of the cars that had been speculated to be part of the pack being there.

However, the Brabham BT63 GT2 will not come to ACC as part of the new DLC. After the recent end of Brabham Automotive, the BT63 and BT62 on which it is based are not in production anymore.

Still, sim racers will get to play around with six new track toys starting January 24. While they are more powerful than the GT3 class of cars, they also genereate less downforce. The result are cars with higher top speeds, but less cornering performance. Here are all the confirmed cars for the ACC GT2 Pack.

ACC GT2 Pack: More Content?

With six cars that feature very different approaches in engine layouts and styling confirmed, could there bere more in the ACC GT2 Pack? So far, all ACC DLC bar the GT4 Pack featured at least one new track as well. The most recent example is the 2023 GT World Challenge Pack released in April of 2023, which added three new GT3 racers as well as Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.

Numerous circuits that SRO series run on in real life are still missing from Assetto Corsa Competizione. As the ACC GT2 Pack focuses on a European series, circuits like the Hockenheimring, Red Bull Ring or Portimão could be candidates – if a track is included at all, that is.

The ACC GT2 Pack releases on January 24. To kick things off, OverTake/RaceDepartment is going to be part of a preview event with fellow content creators on January 23 at 7pm CET. Keep an eye on our socials, as we are going to stream the first look at the DLC live!

The Lambo that took part was the Super Trofeo Evo 2. Which is in ACC. Whether or not they will make whatever changes necessary to make it fit the class performance wise is a different story. But I can guarantee you they won't make a trailer or separate announcement for it.

Is there any chance to at least one free GT2 car to all people have a chance to race? Like they did with Mclacen 720.

Yes. I saw the news too late. I thought RD didn't cover it because it used an image for the cover that wasn't immediately recognizable as "Aris Goes Away." My bad.

A shame about the Brabham, I was hoping ACC would be the Museum for the brand.
I really love that car and was truly looking forward to tossing it around.
Still....getting a modern 935 is the cat's meow.
I started my career fixing Porsche automobiles, so any new offerings are always appreciated.

No track, no purchase.

Probably sound childish but I predict these cars will be popular for a couple of weeks until the novelty wears off and everyone will go back to GT3.

Hopefully a new track is included, we badly need one given Valencia was the last track we got and that was 8 months ago.
It might sound even more childish but.. No properly working v-sync no purchase. :( I am stunned that after so many years now it is still a problem for Kunos. RTX 3070Ti and 120fps+ in 4K or 45 with v-sync... Not every simracer uses fancy monitor! Justice for TVs!

No offense but if you have the money for an 3070 i'm sure you can buy a "fancy monitor".

You can't assume that.

I use 34" 3440 gsync on rig but everyday monitor is indeed a 4K TV
I do alot of testing AI races in background in windowed mode while I do other things. rF2 multi tasks very well indeed.
I do 4K screenshots on the TV and sitting in cabin watching a race like Lemans at night ( not driving) testing at 60Hz I ask myself why I brought the gsync. lol ;)
The other thing is its a cheap Kogan ! lol and looks great in 4K.

On Topic ACC , AMS2 look great on 4K TV as well.

For mine high detail 4K letter box is better then widescreen immersion wise
for the extra detail you get in cabin, raindrops and such.
However to actualy test this I would need to move the bench the cat uses to sit at window to fit the extra inches of TV
For my sake mentally and physically that is not a option :coffee:

Yep, Lambo offered a kit for existing Super Trofeo owners to bring it in line with the GT2 class.

“We feel that the car, with some fine-tuning work on restrictors, ballast and an aerodynamic device, can be absolutely balanced with the other cars.

“Horsepower is not a problem. We just have to balance the aerodynamic behavior of the car and the weight. Then we can work on the ride height. There’s a lot of tools.

“We have a lot of experience on the Super Trofeo so we don’t see any kind of problem to balance the car for the GT2 category.”

It's been a long time since I've played on non G-Sync monitor, but doesn't regular VSync drops framerate to the nearest level or even in half if your fps is under monitor refresh rate, which is 45 or 30 for 60hz monitors.
It happens in all titles, not ACC only, it's just how VSync works.
You can get around by using "Adaptive VSync", did you try that?
