A Casual Sim Racer
This track captures the soaring mountains around the Fliegerhorst Hinterstoisser military base, which was called Zeltweg back in the 1960s. Although some trackside details might not be the most detailed I've seen for AC, generally that is the only knock I can find against this track at all. I found the general immersion of the track to be excellent.

Bumpy historic tracks can be difficult to get an accurate track mesh balance for, this circuit nails the track mesh and provides that rough airport experience which the actual Zeltweg circuit was infamous for, and which I love in endurance racing. If you love Sebring, this is Sebring Jr.

The AI races extremely well around this circuit, and there are 50 grid spots for a huge field of cars. The circuit is also well optimized.

Overall, this is a must have track to add to your historic Assetto Corsa track collection.

Nicely made and good looking. Rough surface - OK - but it is almost also undriveable bumpy at this point. Maybe worth a look to improve. But thx a lot for your work. :-)

Really enjoying this and I hope you keep polishing and adding some improvements to it. I like the bumpiness and the look and feel of the track, very much captures the '60s vibe nicely.

Could do with a bit higher quality textures on some of the buildings and structures and some of the trees around the track don't blend so nicely. But nothing too important. The one thing that is an issue for me is the AI, hopefully someone out there can lend a hand with that because it's very slow for me (unless I'm doing something wrong, especially in the two hairpins.

Can't imagine doing 500km here though, that's a crazy amount to do on this track.

Hello, The ai problem can be easily solved by deleting the ai_hints file from the data folder. (But this may cause some cars with less powerful brakes (e.g. Ford Gt40) to crash into the bales.)

But we will try to find a better solution in the future.

It is beautifully done! As I live in the area I'm thrilled someone finally did this! Now we can relive the beginning moments of racing in the region.

The only thing missing from my Portfolio now is the Stages from the upcoming Murtal-Rally (like Märchenwald). I hope somebody decides to make these as I do not have the skills.
