Welcome to Waterford Hills Road Racing!
It's a rather small race track in my local area, good fun for track days and club racing. I've been there a couple of times, and a small sports car is definitely preferred!
The track surfaces are converted from CarSim (a professional vehicle simulation tool), from which I got the approval (funny thing is that they admitted they did not get approval from the real world track owner). The pit area and track objects are missing in their model. Since I haven't bothered learning Blender yet, I simply skipped the pit area for now and 'stole' the track objects from other tracks to fill out the emptiness (a building from Zolder, marshal stations from VIR, spectator stands from Willow Springs Balcony, etc). Hopefully the authors don't mind (as those are free mods too).
Notes and tips:
- Grass FX config file for CSP included, suggest turning it on for (much) better looking.
- The real world track does not have lights, so I didn't bother adding them.
- There's only one TV replay camera right now. Feel free to add more if you'd like!
- 16 pits on the side of start/finish straight, and 16 race grids.
- The surrounding walls are working as they should, but everything else will be a pass-through (except from the cones). I'll try to fix them if I find a way. For now just use them as reference points. Don't try to hit them LOL.
- The track is narrow and curvy, so more horsepower isn't gonna give you the advantage! Have fun!
