StJo_LOD.jpg
=================================
Mont Tremblant was originally created for SCGT by Porsche Guy from the scratch.
MY BIGGEST RESPECT FOR THIS KIND WORK.
Is was converted to rF by Bud Lucas and Andy55.
PorscheGuy and Bud Lucas gave the permisson for the conversion to GTL.
Pls. notice the original Readmes incl. in the archive.
Eric Bourgouin offers a historical GPL version incl. the real background (mountain area),
which was included in this version.
I didn't manage to reach him and ask for permission, hope he won't mind about.
Originally the track offers 3 layouts, currently only the GP&North version is converted to GTL,
maybe I'll add the missing chicaned layout in future.

WHAT WIKIPEDIA MENTIONS ABOUT
=============================
Circuit Mont-Tremblant is a 4.26 kilometre (2.65 mi) race circuit about 13 kilometres (8 mi) north of the
villages of Mont-Tremblant and Saint-Jovite in Quebec, Canada.
Set amidst the scenic Laurentian mountains, Mont-Tremblant is gorgeous.
The track surface was very bumpy, however, and as a result the attrition rate was quite high in the
two Canadian Grand Prix events staged here. Of the forty cars entered those two races, only 16 reached
the checkered flag.
A major overhaul of the circuit in 2004 allowed more domestic and continental sportscar races to be held.
Pit road was lengthened and widened featuring a new pit exit, while the pit straight was widened to
12 metres (42 ft).
A chicane was added in Turn 2, while Turn 6 and 10 were modified to create two separate circuits which
could be run simultaneously.
The signature hump was lowered 3.5 meters (12 ft) for safety, while Namerow corner was modified for runoff.
On July 1, 2007, Mont-Tremblant hosted a round of the Champ Car World Series, marking the series'
first race at the circuit since Indy cars competed in 1967 and 1968, when Mario Andretti won both races.
The race featured many lead changes and ended in wet weather, with Robert Doornbos emerging victorious.

Thank you...I loved driving the old track with the BMW club. It's great that you preserved and updated the historical rendition to run on this track. The feel is very good upon firt impression, but I'll get back after spending some more time with it.

Thanks,

"Turn in at the frost heave."
