Edit 19-06-2021: actually I ended up making 5 different layouts with AI splines which are included in the update
In case you like modding cars for Assetto Corsa you need a tool for measuring and correcting mechanical grip, aero properties and AI training. This is the intended use of the Skid pad in this add-on layout for the Suspensions Test Track.
Install and use: install the track if you don't have it already and then open this 7z to drag from it into the "..\content\tracks\" folder of your game. Confirm merging of folders. To use the standard Tyre Tester app you have to deactivate CSP and load vanilla AC.
To test wet tires you need CSP preview and the edited data of car.ini with
To make the AI less jerky and to achieve stable max load on the outside tires use primarily "tyre hint" slider and "Steer LA" to get ~0.00 offset from the spline. Those are the ideal values for AI training in the particular surface traction. In the layout's "surfaces.ini" the skid pad is "1.0" grip and changes come from the "Track" condition in CM and Sol+CSP dynamics.
