This car is just phenomenal. The grip and the way you can push this car to the limits is just awesome. The Hotlap-engine-mode just really kicks in. I'm not the best Sim-racer, but a 1:40.906 is even for me possible, so the car config might be too fast, but anyways, I really enjoy this car, thank you very much dude. But there occures the same problem as many others have, it's just showing two Porsche 2016 919's, that's a pity.

After a couple hours of trying to get this mod to run, i gave up. It's just showing 2 versions of the 2016 no matter what i'm doing.

Physics work, sound doesn't. Any way around it? Because it's clearly undrivable without sound

well, physics work, but no engine sound.. dont know whats wrong...

don't know what i might be doing wrong here... i have tried at least 10 different times to make this work and it only shows 2 versions of the 2016 hybrid version, not the Evo version. Again i have deleted data.acd , Renamed to _EVO.bank and all the instructions but i dont know. please help

Doesnt work you should really work on the describtion should the folder be called ks_porsche_919_2016_hybrid_evo or ks_porsche_919_hybrid_2016_evo

Works perfectly fine, what a beast...tho it would be cool if you could include a skin mimicking the Evo version (no headlights etc)

Seen in use looks good, but instructions aren't working, made a copy of the 2016 919, renamed it and the sfx file, deleted data.acd and then copied this mod over and it appears as a unique car not a tuned 2016 919

There's 2 folders for Porsche 919, 2015 and 2016, I assumed 2015 was the right one to copy because it had all the data but it still didn't work

Mod not work!!!
Is not clear what I could do with orginal name folder!
Exist folder which name is "ks_porsche_919_hybrid_2016" !!
Not exist folder named "ks_porsche_919_2016" !!
Past rename orginal folder to name "ks_porsche-919_hybrid_2016_EVO" we have not tuning mod of the Porsche 919, but another car at list, which look the same like original mod!!
In this situation I don't know which mod is EVO mod!
It's something wrong!!!

I've updated the description as it omitted the word "hybrid" in the folder names, now everything should work

It could probably use some tuning like you said (it seems a little fast) but overall it's a great adaptation to the content we already have so thank you.

I'd like to add though, that when copying this exact guide, i don't get a tuning upgrade to the 2016 919, it creates a whole new car slot in the selection screen so I'm not sure why that is.

I could not make the change. Could you explain better, how do you do it? Should I copy the files from the EVO folder and simply paste it into the 919 folder that we copy right from KS?

You need to make a copy of your original Kunos version, then add these files to it.

You should have your original untouched "Ks_porsche_919_hybrid" folder and a copy of it named "ks_porsche_919_hybrid_EVO" that you put these files into. After you do that, you'll have to delete data.acd from the "ks_porsche_919_hybrid_EVO" folder

I have it working and its extremely fast and very very good in the bends, the power is something else when you engage that Hybrid out of the corners or if your gutsy enough to do it mid corner it pulls you around hard and then when its on the straights it will hit the top speed no problem!!
