Simulation damage not enough? Try this damage mod which aims to have more exciting races while keeping it somewhat realistic!
Idea fully copied from StrongestFish but when asked if they would make this mod for f1 22 they responded with "I won't. Feel free to make and upload your own version"
Don't need to credit me in any videos or anything just don't reupload a blatant copy of the mod to here or somewhere else claiming you made it. Thanks
Installation instructions:
Playing with normal liveries? Use the copy and paste method as shown below:
Playing with custom liveries? Use the XML File method shown below:

Installation instructions:
Playing with normal liveries? Use the copy and paste method as shown below:
Step 1: Install mod from the red download button above and find it in your downloads folder.
Step 2: Unzip the folder to a desired location on your computer.
Step 3: Open the folder and open 'Copy Paste' inside it.
Step 4: Copy the 2022_asset_groups folder into your F1 22 Game directory and make sure you click replace files when it asks which should be located at:
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\F1 22
If it isn't there then enter Steam library, right click on F1 22, hover over manage and then click browse local files
Step 5: You are done.
Step 2: Unzip the folder to a desired location on your computer.

Step 5: You are done.
Playing with custom liveries? Use the XML File method shown below:
Step 1: Ensure Ego ERP Archiver 9.0.0 is installed. Refer to guide below for full, proper installation and removal of the old version.
Step 2: Go to F1 22 Game directory at:
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\F1 22\2022_asset_groups\f1_2022_vehicle_package\teams
If it isn't located here then
enter Steam library, right click on F1 22, hover over manage and then click browse local files and then go 2022_asset_groups, f1_2022_vehicle_package, teams
Step 3: Open any team in this folder i.e. ferrari then open wep and open ferrari.erp with Ego ERP Archiver 9.0.0 Make sure it says 9.0.0 at the top of Ego ERP Archiver when you open the .erp file otherwise your game will crash. If you are confused then refer to the guide below this one.
Step 4: Click the XML Files tab and there should be one file named something like: ferrari!!!!temp000.vtf
Select it by left clicking on it once and then click the Xml files tab at the very top and select 'import'.
Step 5: This should open up a new tab where you need to find and open the Realistic Damage mod folder that you downloaded and open XML Files within it. Then click on ferrari!!!!temp000.vtf and select open.
Step 6: In Ego ERP Archiver, select File > Save and it will open a new window where you click save again and then 'yes' on the popup. Now close Ego ERP Archiver
Step 7: Unfortunately you need to repeat this for every team including the FOM car and the MyTeam engine suppliers.
Why is this so complicated?
If you use the copy and paste method with custom liveries installed which are also stored in the .erp files, then the new .erp files being pasted in will overwrite them and give you the damage mod but not the skins.
Step 2: Go to F1 22 Game directory at:
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\F1 22\2022_asset_groups\f1_2022_vehicle_package\teams
If it isn't located here then
