Opala Stock Cars 1986 - Nascar Liveries 3.0

Four new liveries with accurate driver helmets and suits as an optional install now part of the livery pack !

- Darrell Waltrip 1988 Tide
- Tim Richmond 1986 Folgers

How to install the Unique Liveries add-on:
First install what is inside the "Original pack" folder, afterwards paste what is inside the "Unique liveries add-on" into the root AMS2 folder and "overwrite all" when requested.

No ETA yet, replacement liveries with unique numbers and appropriate helmets + suits. Just like with my Stock Cars 1999 pack i want to avoid duplicate numbers. The original liveries will still be part of the pack !

Drivers already had custom helmets in the 1.02 update.
Now they also have full outfits as accurate as possible to their respective seasons.

Some comparisons:

Finally properly started work on the full driver outfits. UV map is super painful to work with but the result is definitely worth it. Once done the immersion will be at maximum !
EDIT 28.9. : 13 out of 20 outfits are done:

Accurate (as possible) helmets for all 20 drivers ! Unfortunately i was not able to find reference images for every single driver but i also didn't want to leave them with just a generic helmet, so i at least made helmets based on their car liveries for now as place-holders.

Accurate helmets:
- Alan Kulwicki, Bill Elliott, Bobby Allison, Cale Yarborough, Dale Earnhardt Sr., Darrell Waltrip, Harry Gant, Kenny Schrader, Michael Waltrip, Neil Bonnett, Ricky Rudd, Richard Petty, Rusty Wallace, Terry Labonte, Tim Richmond.

Placeholders:
- David Pearson, Kyle Petty, Joe Ruttman, Geoffrey Bodine, Dave Marcis

- Bobby Allison's livery color was not accurate. It should have had more of a golden look. Hopefully this is an improvement in the right direction.

- AI re-ballanced based on accurate average start and finishing positions based on the driver's specific season.

As of now i finished 6 out of 20 helmets, wich include Yarborough, Allison, Earnhardt, Elliott, Kulwicki and Waltrip. Once all 20 are done i will make another update for the pack.

I also fixed (or at least improved) the Bobby Allison paintscheme. After checking a LOT of reference material again, the color is supposed to have more of a golden shade. Hopefully it is more accurate now and this will also be part of the update.

Doing some test for future projects. What would you suggest ?

Opala 1979 (or the Old Stock Opala) would consist of drivers that finished in the TOP 18 in the 1979 DaytTona 500 plus Cale Yarborough and Donnie Allison for reasons obvious to people who watched that race. Limit is 20 liveries.

Copa Classic B has car 6 models and could have up to 40 liveries, so it could be interesting to see how those would fit.

There were two typos that caused one custom AI driver to not work and one to have an incorrectly spelled team name. Apologies for the inconvenience !

Which of these 3 liveries is the most popular, or do you think would look the best ? Can't decide which one to make. Although that Valvoline is looking cool, as well as BUSCH.

EDIT: The 2 on the right side will be fixed in the next update.

Current plans for the final 8 drivers. I am still opened to suggestions for possible replacements.

Michael Waltrip 1988 Country Time

Richard Petty 1982 STP, the one in which The King achieved his 200.th victory.

I also fixed the STP on the hood of Kyle Petty - it was too big and orientated the wrong way.

All 3 liveries are now part of the pack !

I wasn't at all satisfied with how the Wrangler and COORS liveries looked because the sponsors were too small.

That is now fixed and also Elliott's main livery is now from 1986. The 88 is still part of the pack as an option.

Dale Earnhard updated with better decal scaling & Bill Elliott re-worked into the 1986 livery. I will still keep the COORS 1988 as an optional choice.

This will be in the 0.36 update.
