Have fun with the second Rally stage based in the Elm forest!
Here's some quick footage:

Rally Olympia was an one off rally event held in Germany in 1972, the year of the Kiel-Munich Olympic Games.
Competitors travelled from Kiel to Munich and drove special stages/Wertungsprüfungen (WP) during this trip.
The event celebrates its 50th anniversary this year with a revival rally.

WP02: Königslutter, WP03: Teufelsküche and WP04: Elm were all based in my local forest, the Elm.
On the 14th August 1972, from 17:30 onwards, more than 300 cars attempted these stages.
There never was a rally like this ever again in Germany and no Rally cars were seen in the Elm until 2022.
Very few pictures or videos are publically available of these stages, so I tried to recreate what the stages were like at the Olympia Rally.

This is the second of three stages to be published over the course of this year.
You can find the first stage here:

WP03 was won by Ove Eriksson in his Opel Ascona 19 SR in 1 minute and 47 seconds.
About 4 km gravel roads that go up and down like a rollercoaster. Fast straights and corners lead to tight turns at junctions.
The stage name 'Teufelsküche' translates to devils kitchen. In the morning hours, fog appears in the valleys caused by a nearby lake in the Reitling valley
(I've also included a very rough version of it so you can explore the surroundings). During this years 50th anniversary revival rally, the Reitling valley is going to be visited again by the rally cars of past times.

Pit start point is at the parking lot 'Tetzelstein', where a stage was planned to start but was deemed too unsafe. The stage you're using now was a quick rethink by the organisation.
Near the end of the stage, you pass a crashed car with the number 11. This represents the Escort of Dieter Glemser as he lost control of his car there and hit a log.
He and his Co Driver escaped the hard impact only slightly injured as they wore seatbelts, which weren't mandatory back then.

If you want to start at the Timing point, select start at 'Starting Line'.
If you want to use it for hotlaps and start right before the Assetto Corsa Starting Line, select start at 'Hotlap Start'.
  • All sponsors and marking boards are highly accurate.
  • Terrain source is Google and my own hiking trip on the roads of the stage.
  • Trees vary in height, density and type according to the forest parcels (the forest and its wood is used commercially).
  • Bumps, ditches and prominent points rely on the original pacenotes by Alfred Gorny.
Includes a Map, AI line, cameras and GrassFX.

Recommended vehicles: Touring and Rally cars of the late 60s and early 70s, for example the TC Legends by Bazza.
