INDYCAR IR18 2023 MOD! 2.0

Just in time for the Indy500 we present to you the biggest update to the IndyCar mod!


Features:
- Full IndyCar 2023 grid with teams & drivers ironed out to provide the best racing possible!

- Reworked Push-to-Pass system - updated to push-and-hold (previously was a shots system)

- Disabled in 1st Lap

- P2P LED's *light up only when reaching overdrive due to game limitation
- Reworked physics for Road version based on feedback

Hotfixes:
- Fixes missing drivers after update V1.4.7.1
- Slight adjustments to reduce the stretched rear view mirrors

To install, simply replace the INDYCAR_2023 folder

Sorry I missed the installation process.

To install the update, just replace your existing Mods\Indycar_2023 folder with the new folder and reinstall via JSGME or CM. Make sure you back up any custom liveries. No need to update the vehiclelist or driveline files.

To avoid any issues, reset setup to default settings.

Changelog:
- Updated liveries
- Slightly reduced aero downforce
- Increased engine boost to 100% (previously was left unintentionally at 90%)
- Increased drag in front and rear wings account for the higher engine power
- Adjusted steering lock min/max values

These slight changes were made to make the car more lively and easier to reach the limit of grip.

The Alternate tires (soft/reds) are still assigned by default. These have the most grip and higher wear. Primary (hard/black) tires have less grip and have a longer lifespan.

Please keep the feedback coming and we'll adjust the physics as necessary. We are still on track to release the Oval version soon!

Many liveries have had a slight touch up.

Andretti cars have had a more significant facelift.

Templates added.

We've got a new update for Automobilista 2 (1.4.6.4). The mod still works OK, just make sure you download the new Bootfiles and update the required files. A bit of an annoyance but nothing more than 5-10 mins of work.

We also got the feedback and we'll look at the gear ratios and torque curve on low RPMs.

Thanks for the nice reception the mod has received! Hopefully this will steer more modders to try AMS2. It has certainly motivated me! Here's a sneak peek of the next update:
