I had problems to install it.
I tried to follow the instructions in the readme file as good as possible, but the app doesn't appear in the content manager so I must have missed something.

bro i am downloaded horizon shades but there is a problem in RSS cars, tyres are becoming gray (its a very bad gray)
can you help me?(only RSS cars)

It's incredible. It looks awesome but i don't like the amount of blur (personal preference).

Fix for dark cockpits;
Settings > Custom Shaders Patch > Extra FX > Ambient occlusion (HBAO + by Nvidia) > tick Disable for interior Cameras


Untick for open wheel cars.

its a great filter. i am using the gt one. its basically pretty darn accurate no matter the time of year, or time of day. in the game no one setting combination is going to be ideal all the time. but with this you can get it down easy to a couple of adjustments.

maybe its 60% brightness for a morning, or at laguna seca you want it bright so 100% and 100% contrast. great versatile filter. will be a mainstay now.

contrast may only ever be 1 off - 99-101 depending on car dashboard and usually it does not even need adjusting to stay perfect across a wide range of dates, times, and vehicle/tracks.

may be with brightness you could get away with leaving it on 85 and not 100 or some such, but you can take it down to 60 at points, or a bright day in the desert may be you make it 110. did I mention how I like how versatile it is. Its not the best thing to read but it does make a lot of other filters redundant.

Its one of th ebest filters out there, even with the new csp 0.1.80-preview115, horizon shades classic looks just awesome, better then pure candy.

Hi, for me this version it's ok in a bright and glow way. I have FPS drops, but the final result it's amazing!

Damn even greater graphics with less performance hit.
If the sun blinds you every time you race, I have a fix! Hope it works for you.
Just go in game and pull out the sol config menu
Then go to pg 7 and change sun sky bloom to 15%
sun dazzle mix to 50%
sun dazzle strength 15%
Then pg 13 change light source Is level 70 % (sun part)

Thanks for this. Been struggling with AC always being so dark with CSP and SOL. This mod sorted those problem out completely and the sim looks just how I want it now. Appreciate you work, great job.

ok now its semi working, i have a black sky i tried to reinstall but the black sky is there. i switched back to sol and i have a normal sky, with horizon shades the sky is black, no texture

which version of SOL are you using? Did you use the correct version of Horizon Shades for SOL 1.6 or for Sol 1.5?

I thought my ac already looked good but this is next level! Thank you for this however, could you tell me why on some cars the tyres/wheels have a strange glitch happening? (its hard to explain you may know what I mean)
