This is heroic work by GTR233 (and many, many friends) to maintain and update GTR2 as much as possible. If you have GTR2 on your PC, download this now! It really is THAT good. Totally revitalizes the game! Now with many options configurable by a command prompt, working wipers in the rain modded in, and more.

I'v had the GTR2 (CD ver) and the HQ Anniversary version (9.8.1.7) installed some time now and race in it from time to time. With the latest patch I am at awe on how an old game like this still can give me the thrill and enjoyment even with games like ACC, R3E and iracing circling around in my PC. A big thanks to all the people who made this possible. If only the game where better optimised for triple screens I'd be even more happy, With triples at a resolution of 5760x1080 is still very good but the view on the side screens are somewhat skewed.

Indeed display is stretched with triple screens, I don't have solution for this at the moment but maybe @The Iron wolf will be able to fix it via CrewChief in the future.

Hi! Just updated to the latest version, and I have noticed that the game crashes upon attempting to start any sort of race session using the 360 Modena GT. I do not know if anyone else has this issue, or if it is just me. I can supply the .DMP file from the crashes if required.

An incredible job by all concerned led by the passion of Paul, it's truly amazing just how good this now nearly 15 year old game plays and looks.
Unlike so many of todays games it's complete and now comes with wipers.

Great work here. Probably the easiest way to enjoy the best of GTR2 for newcomers! The UI redesign is much slicker and more modern than the original design. Good job!

Merci et chapeau pour ce formidable Mod. je joue en Real sans aide. Malgré la difficulté I.A au minimum, je trouve l'I.A encore trop fort. Comment puis-je baisser la force de l'I.A encore d'un cran SVP. Merci

salut, dans le menu tu peux régler la difficulté avec un curseur pour définir le % : à 90% normalement c'est facile de dépasser l'IA. Après si tu veux encore les ralentir il faut modifier ton fichier PLR (dans UserData) avec notepad et en particulier réduire "AI CORNER GRIP USAGE" : baisse par paliers de 0.01 jusqu'à obtention d'un niveau correct pour toi. Voilou :)
