First of all, thanks a lot for this great mod! The Ferrari is a real must have in the GTE lineup!
I recently tested the car quite intensively at Potrero de los Funes against other GTEs. I realised that the Ferrari unfortunately has a lack of top speed. On the long straights, it is about 10 to 15 km/h slower than it's competitors which results in 0,5 to 1 s slower lap times.
Also I think it needs more downforce on the rear end. In highspeed corners it is more unstable than the other cars. If you try to lower the rear wing (to gain a few km/hs on the straights), it sadly becomes undriveable, spinning at every full-throttle corner. The front is fine though (in terms of low front splitter values).
Other than that, the handling is great and feels really balanced from my perspective.
Hope that helps a little :)

Thanks. Handling over bumps and BoP against the other GTE/GTLM cars has definitely been a challenge, and is still a focus for future updates.
Thank you.I can enjoy WEC races with this. However, compared to GTE such as URD, it will be overtaken and pulled away. The maximum speed is not enough and there will be a time difference of about 2 to 3 seconds at Fuji Speedway. The 488 that can compete a little more on an equal footing is ideal. please
very well done mod. just one problem, why is the default gearing this long? with the default set we get 352 km/h as 6th top speed, which is impossible for a GTE car. is there a way this could be fixed apart from setup modification?

IIRC, I didn't change the gear ratios from the GT3 car.
I had an issue with the steering wheel oscillating side to side, which someone noted earlier in the reviews. It only affects some people. This can be fixed by turning off ABS in the car setup.
Great car

There is no "Double-click on the copy_and_install_files.bat script to run it."
If i fount it, i will replace the rating.
And yes, i have used the CM.

Sorry, turns out that Content Manager gets confused with this folder structure.
Just drag the content directory out of the .zip file and into the main AC folder.
Sorry for the confusion!
But this still should have been a discussion post and not a 1-star review.
Overall it is not bad but I had one big issue. I take cars to the Nordschleife to test balance and such. This car has a jumpy/light front end. The wing and suspension numbers are the same as the GT3 but when I go over the high speed jump before the right hander early in the lap even though I let off the gas before the jump the front end leaps way up in the air. Later in the lap there is a downhill twisty section with a drop off where most cars get some air. This car the front tires are a foot off the ground while the rear end is still touching or close. Everywhere the front end gets light it seems to catch too much air. I also turn off traction control to get a better feel for the balance. I can't seem to get the back end to break loose without really horsing it. I wonder if there may be too much rear downforce now, which would contribute to the first issue I spoke of. I tried the GT3 afterwards and it does not do this. Nice start on this but it does need some more work.

Aero is one area where I'm still missing a lot of data, so it's definitely on the roadmap for future investigation.
Forgive me, though, if I have trouble taking seriously the criticism that "This car is version 0.2 and faster than this other car but when I took it over a jump at much higher speeds it caught more air so it needs a lot of work." ;) That's... why it's version 0.2.
But yes, front aero needs attention.
Excellent work!

Thanks! Looking forward to putting this into some leagues or SRS or something. Now I need to go apologize to the guys at Arcis for being so incredulous when they said people wouldn't be able to follow a two-step instruction set. LOL
Great work! I'm glad I found it.
brilliant!
I like it...just got to dial back brake bias...
for others having trouble installing, it took me 3 or 4 times to get it right (I'm an old guy) ...1) unzip file 2) drag "content" to AC root folder 3) go to steamapps>common>assettocorsa>content>cars 4) scroll to bottom of car list to zbw_ferrari_488_gte and open content>cars>zbw_ferrari_488_gte and double click on copy_and_install_files.bat 5) small window will open ,press enter to complete...I tried dragging zipped file into CM, but did not work for me (I'm sure thats user error), so I used above technique.

Turns out it's not user error after all. CM really can't cope with it. Guess I should, like, test things!

You don't know how long I've been waiting for something like this! I love it. In terms of performance I tried a few laps with AI and other GTEs and It is always head to head with Kunos Porsche RSR. Corvette and URD's GTE are a little bit slower. Thank you a lot, finally I have a full GTE grid.

Thanks! I was honestly surprised no one seems to have tried this approach before. And yeah, the BoP is still a tad off with the RSR, but it's also years newer than the C7.R. Oh well. Have fun out there!
great mod pasha! appreciate this a lot
This is absolutely great. Just a quick note that the 1st link to the IMSA skin is not compatible with this model, but for the GTE EVO of the Rollovers.

Thanks, I'll remove it. Enjoy!
fantastic!!! super appreciated
As Alexandre Rain below, I have the same issue, there is a weird wobble in the wheel, makes it undrivable I'm using a TM TS PC racer. that doesn't feel right.

Great work, nice having the GTE version
Wonderful. Keep up the great work. It's much appreciated.
Been waiting for a 488 GTE Mod forever, I'm preparing a Bodykit to have it at proper GTE Spec, as ACO doesn't allow for vents around the front fenders of the car, so those need to be patched. Diffuser is also slightly different but that isn't of much issue. Just don't know how to UV it however.

Oooo, neat. If you can work it out as something that can still be installed as a sort of "patch" like the rest of this mod, it would be great if we can include it in the mod. Stay in touch, and have fun. :D
What a beautiful job ! Thanks a lot ! The car handle and engine response are great. B R I L L A N T

Engine response might still be a little *too* great, but we'll figure it out in testing. haha
Thanks!
