This is an updated Cheat Engine Cheat Table to update in game driver names and team names to match the 2021 season. I've made this myself to work with Xurda's 2021 Season Mod [here] and it should work well. This works with the DX12 Steam version 1.17. I have not tested older versions but you shouldn't be on them anyway!
NOTE: If you're looking for an easier way to do this (I also use this instead now) use this mod by Electronics. It's a much better made program that is instantaneous. This method takes around 2-3 mins each launch!
Instructions:
1. Open F1 2020 Dx12.
2. Open up Cheat Engine (download if you don't have it).
3. Drag and drop the 'F12021GRIDFINALVERSION.CT' file into Cheat Engine. You should see a bunch of expandable lists below.
4. In the top left of Cheat Engine, click the monitor (flashing colours), then click your F1 2020 process and open it.
4. You now need to go through each drop down and update he value as the group suggests. You can update the value of the main group and the values inside it will updage. For example, on 'CHANGE TO 'SAINZ'' for the first group, you need to set the value opposite that to 'SAINZ'.
5. Go through EVERYTHING on all dropdowns. This is to update all seen names.
6. Once you have updated all values, you should see these reflect in-game.
