IMPORTANT: This mod is made with Race Track Builder, I know some people don't like the software, so I think you should be aware that I used it before deciding if you want to download it.
Huge Thanks to Selvin, who went out of their way to make a map and working AI for the Rental configuration of the circuit.
- Why I re-created the old layouts -
This track in the city of Sarno, in Italy, was the first track I ever raced something with a motor and four wheels at, so when I discovered that before re-opening the owners decided to re-surface it with an all-new layout, I immediately bought RTB to cement the old layouts in Assetto Corsa, so that me and my friends could race go karts there when we wanted.
- Why this track is special -
For starters, the track had three layouts, and because I couldn't find the official names, I decided to name them myself: the rental layout is the shortest, and the one you would have raced at with rental karts;
the long layout is the one used in official races, with even the FIA european championship racing there;
the old layout is somewhat of a fantasy one, as I never saw anything race around the track following that lines, but I didn't want to leave any piece of tarmac unused.
The vast runoff areas and the big kerbs make mastering this track a decent challenge.
- Fidelity -
Every little piece of tarmac is where it was irl. I haven't changed anything about the track itself.
Everything else, I couldn't do. I'm still new to the modding scene, as showed with the fact that I used RTB, so I used the objects offered by the software.
I added some grandstands to fill the empty spaces.
Here are some screenshots, so you know what you get:
Lil update: Thanks for everyone downloading the mod and leaving a comment. I hope I can get back to making stuff for AC some time, but I only want to upload quality stuff here, so if I ever end up making something good again, you'll see me here
