Circuit des Lapins 1.0

I'd recommend using CSP with grassfx enabled.

This is a recreation of the real-life track situated close to the Loire river in Nevers, a few kilometers away from Magny-Cours.
This abandoned karting track nicknamed "Circuit des Lapins" meaning "Circuit of the rabbits" was well known amongst students of ISAT, the nearby automotive engineering school, as a place to throw your shitbox around.
It was unfortunately closed off a few years ago, possibly because of gypsies settling and being thrown out, or because of noise pollution issues or both I don't really know for sure.

Textures for the tarmac, buildings and extra signs are from real world photos, the grass is a generic grass texture I found in the first results on google images, and the trees are from here.

Since the track was closed off, the tarmac has been slowly degrading over time. Nowadays the track is in an undrivable state so I based the tarmac texture off of the best preserved bit of track, and tweaked the bumpiness of the road until it felt about right. If any OG isatien sees this, I'd love to get some feedback on how the track feels in-game compared to real life.

This was the best video I could find of the track being used, and was very helpful to the modding of the track.

The mod has good historical value but I mainly made it because I thought it would be cool. Enjoy !
