I have no idea yet how pledges work on Patreon (if there is a minimum time you need to pledge), but it's as low as 1€ per month it seems... which should be possible for anyone really

thanx a lot for the pics and the video of the Targa Florio. I´ll definetly have to go there. I´ve started driving Assetto Corsa tracks in the real world last year with the MX5 and have been to Monte Bondone, Mugello, Nordschleife and Aspertsham.

I took the latest build available on Patreon for a spin with a Ferrari GTO: definitely not the best drive, but the track is improving. I can't imagine what it would be to race 11 laps on it, as Wikipedia reports!

Having recently participated in a Targa time trial competition in AMS, I can kinda sorta imagine what 11 laps would feel like. Grueling is the word that comes to mind

But I have the AMS version at least somewhat memorized, and it has a fair amount of "landmarks" to help you. This version I haven't even began to memorize I kinda start to get lost a few kilometers after Cerda

Remember guys that while they did 11 laps, they also were two drivers per car, just as for any other endurance race back then

Some did the entire Targa by themselves. For instance Umberto Maglioli won in 1953 (Lancia) and 1956 (Porsche 550A) driving the entire distance. There are probably others too, but he's the only winner I'm aware of that did it alone.
The cars needed a lot of refuel, so pit stop are for drivers too!
