JOEL DOMINATES MONZA
15 - Italy - Race.png

Joel Rautavaara secured a very important win at a Monza that was slowly getting wetter as the day progressed. After a battle with Sigoulakis, the Finn opened up and left the field for dead, only a small moment in the final third of the race showed any weakness, the 12 second winning gap easily could have been 20. Daniel Harvey and his DTK crew nailed the conditions, allowing a second podium of the season for the Brit, while Ben Utzer was kept out a bit longer than necessary for the change to wet tyres and instead occupied third.
Championship leader Nathan Cornes had a big recovery race, after running down the back early, the weather helped allow the Australian to make his way forward, finishing a credible 4th in the end. Those left behind were Jamie Cocks in 5th after a late mistake, McNamara, Diehl, Sigoulakis, Costello and Bohner rounded out the ten. The late pass of Bohner on Martins is a talking point, as the double points finish for N-Tech at Ravenwests demise means that while a massive punch has hit the Canadian team, they aren't out of the fight just yet.
The start of the race was especially chaotic, with Sharp, Reed, Ishikawa, Mishra, Yamaguchi and Laskey all going out in the first ten laps. Ana managed to get a puncture on his outlap and retired past the second Lesmo. A lap after a massive hit for Mishra, Yamaguchi was caught on the outside of a 3 wide (previously 5 wide) run into the Parabolica with Laskey and Ana. The Japanese driver rolled 4 times, while Laskey also retired on the spot.
Championship Round Up: While Cornes did all he needed to, another retirement for Ishikawa means that it is well and truly Apex with the momentum to take the constructors. With 3 rounds to go, they have the speed and recent reliability to back them up, so they must be close.
Next round is from Suzuka. Marketplace closes 10am Thursday AEDT.

Although the performance should be a big improvement with this car we are worried about the limited supply of tokens.

Andy Graham joins Driftslide for Season 4
Andy Graham, who has left the Jawz Grand Prix team, has joined the pretty slow and new Driftslide team for Season 4.
Driftslide's manager, Andy Black, went out seeking for some drivers.

But might Vimal Ana be remained if he wants to be Pastor Maldonado next season? :p
