Kunos Simulazioni has officially announced the third Dream DLC pack for Assetto Corsa.

Dream Pack 3 will include the famed UK circuit, Brands Hatch, along with seven new cars, six of which were revealed in an interview a couple of weeks ago with the Italian developer. Brands Hatch has been laser-scanned, meaning that it will be replicated in the virtual world with utmost accuracy in relation to it's real life counterpart.

A statement from Kunos' Facebook page:
"Dear AC followers, Kunos Simulazioni is proud to introduce the newest track developed for Assetto Corsa, the iconic Brands Hatch circuit, that will be included in the Dream Pack 3, available on Steam from 12.15.2015!

The Brands Hatch circuit in Assetto Corsa:
The development of this famous and challenging circuit required 6 months of work, making Brands Hatch the fourth circuit added to Assetto Corsa during 2015, after the Nordschleife, Zandvoort and Barcelona. As showed in the following video, Kunos Simulazioni development team has reproduced the track paying attention to all those details and reference points used by real drivers, thanks to the massive use of Laserscan technology. that guarantees the maximum accuracy: stay tuned for other information!"

Dream Pack 3 will be available for purchase and download on December 15, 2015 on Steam.

Which car are you most keen to take for a spin around the newly released Brands Hatch?

I hope so, but i won't promise anything. I am not able to understand italian so i just have to believe what was written there. We'll see. Pack looks quite good anyway
Nah, none of that news was accurate - prc read it on reddit, and the guy on reddit intentionally lied to trick prc. Once the article went up he added a comment that they shouldn't be so gullible. The interview only said "7 cars, no rain, no night".

The update seems like a good one. Except nordschleife this dlc is more interesting to me than the last one.
But do we really need more Fiat abarth 500's? I would rather have kunos remove some of the lotuses instead of adding that car.

You do know you can delete the Lotuses yourself, right? And if you want them back, just refresh your game cache in Steam :)

I live-streamed many of Stefano's "Look What the Cat Hacked In" episodes, and on many he stated to the point of ad nauseam NO RAIN. User "Blame" got banned in the last one, Stefano means business. No little drops of water. Frankly, once you mod the Track Surface grip slider to include lower grip levels, that's all you need to experience wet track conditions. With some common sense tuning and temps, all that's missing is the visual rain effect, which I don't need. I'm having a blast racing on low grip levels with my custom overcast weathers.

I wonder if the sound for these new cars will be any better than the other packs released ? or be just as dreadful. Quattro was a complete let down :(

I think they actually think the sounds are good as they are, otherwise we would have heard an answer on it. I really cant emphasize how much the sounds does for me and I've been really befuddled reading that other people actually think the sounds are good.
Like the Ford GT 40, the sounds completely ruins the experience for me. It's really such a shame considering how good everything else is.

And good sounds actually are possible.... R3E :inlove:
Bought that on Black Friday and already knew sounds would be fantastic, but the outcome was even better than expected.
But physics in AC are better in my opinion.

A racing title combining the best from AC, R3E, PCars and iRacing.... That would be.... Breathtaking, near perfection

I'd like to try that title, when I get the time for it.

Physics is important and AC isnt bad. It isnt netKar level though, for my own personal preferance it's not close, even. That was perfection physics and FFB, and yet so simple. Quantity kills quality.

Wow ! Will be running all day long with the 72D...Funny that this DLC make AC looks like Project Cars...
With Iracing bringing the Nord and the MCLaren MP4-30, end of year will be busy (And I suppose that R3E will release the adacgtmaster2015 at the same time...)
Christmas feels good :)

Seing that both have the rights to the same makes that not a surprise .
They still need the Lotus 79 to complete all the winning Championship cars.
I have little problems with Lotus's in the game Colin Chapman changed the face of motorsport with a stream of light weight cars & the use of light weight materials .

As for first drives the MK1 Escort not sure what model we are getting is it the first Lotus Twin cam 1.6 the launched the legends rally & track History of the later Cosworth BDA units.
Anyhow thw MK1 is a car I know well from my late teens & early 20's

Had a lot of dirty hands working on a friends 1.3 Mk1 & a later RS 2.1 pinto single cam tarmac spec rally car that we wanted to rally but never had the full funds to do so instead we drove around in it for the fun of it & followed some of the Lombard RAC rally in 1987 .

That was the fastest car i had driven at that time full spec bored out pinto stage 3 head steel bottom end balanced straight through exhaust just under 200 bhp that was good for 6 sec to 60 mph maxed out at 120 mph.

I the classic diamond white . we fully restored the car having picked it up 2nd hand at that point Race spec Escorts were been sold off due them no long been able to be use outside of Club events.

We put some hrs into that car to get it back on the road & got rewarded with lots of fun , he sold it after a change of jobs & the next owner wiped it out pitty .

So yes looking forwards to that one I hope they get the Rev counter needle bounce correct as well that was always a problem with those old analog gauges they would bonce around you had to gess when it was around 7500 rpm or hit the limiter.

Look forwards to this car.

I must also point out that I'm very happy to see the result of this poll. A stick shifted vintage car is in top, ahead of all the GT3 cars that all feel like driving a train on rails. People are going in the right direction ;) The classic formulas is pretty high also, which is positivt. Unfortunate only that it's so hard to find an online server with these kind of cars still, only GT2 and GT3 servers almost.

i think its because so many people liked the alfa GTA so they know that they are gona like this car and it means we finally have a rival for the cheeky alfa. Man i cant wait, ive had some great races with the gta

Why no GT1 cars.....

Frankly.....people want to drive cars they are least likely to drive in real life.....easy to understand the love for the GT class cars. I personally would love to see GT1 class cars

They aren't on rails. Either you haven't reached the limit or there might be some FFb issues (clipping etc.). Either way I enjoy racing the most, so GTs for me are a big yes. However blasting around in an F40 made with official licenses, well that's my cup of tea too. All in all great pack, counting the days.

I swear Kunos and SMS are working together with regards to content. A lot of the same content in both titles I am sure they both have the same scan data of Brands Hatch. Anyway if developers can work together to find ways to keep development costs down it would be a good thing and a practice I would be supportive of.

or you know it could just be that they like the same things and have the same licenses. the ferrari 458 is in pretty much everything for reference.

Essential Modern Ferraris missing:
-F50
-F355 (the reason there's a 458, the 348 was getting walked by stock NSX)
-550/575 Maranello and 599 GTO, you can't go wrong with these as your go to front engined (v12 no less) Gran Turismos.
Old Ferraris:
-all of them

I dont mind that they have the same content, I spent good money on Pcars almost fully knowing it would not be my cup of tea. Immersion and sounds are better in PCars, but that's it for me.

It's my sincere hope that some of these Italian beauties make it into Kunos' title as they should, Italian Studio biased towards Italian Marques, can't get any better.

pretty hilarious because his wife asked if there was night racing in the game.
