Kunos Unveils Assetto Corsa Dream Pack 3

Kunos Simulazioni has officially announced the third Dream DLC pack for Assetto Corsa.

Dream Pack 3 will include the famed UK circuit, Brands Hatch, along with seven new cars, six of which were revealed in an interview a couple of weeks ago with the Italian developer. Brands Hatch has been laser-scanned, meaning that it will be replicated in the virtual world with utmost accuracy in relation to it's real life counterpart.

A statement from Kunos' Facebook page:

"Dear AC followers, Kunos Simulazioni is proud to introduce the newest track developed for Assetto Corsa, the iconic Brands Hatch circuit, that will be included in the Dream Pack 3, available on Steam from 12.15.2015!

The Brands Hatch circuit in Assetto Corsa:
The development of this famous and challenging circuit required 6 months of work, making Brands Hatch the fourth circuit added to Assetto Corsa during 2015, after the Nordschleife, Zandvoort and Barcelona. As showed in the following video, Kunos Simulazioni development team has reproduced the track paying attention to all those details and reference points used by real drivers, thanks to the massive use of Laserscan technology. that guarantees the maximum accuracy: stay tuned for other information!"

Dream Pack 3 will be available for purchase and download on December 15, 2015 on Steam.

with this unimmersive and boring AI and AI-Gameplay totally uninteresting. I didn't even drove the free Audi they released recently. so even if it would be free....useless

AC is more a test-drive game or a game to drive against real humans. Check out the RD clubraces.... These are just plain awesome

This will almost conclude the most comprehensive GT field in any game out by now. I'll race the race cars first, escort and the lotuses next. Brands is fun for touring cars, gt racing is a borefest there as the places to pass are too few.

Still happy to see this come.

I'll echo above statements and say that Kunos won't get another dime of my money till game improvements are made. The AI is flat out horrible, no rolling starts, the multiplayer leaves a lot to be desired, and no weather or night racing. Of all the racing sims I've bought, this one is the biggest disappointment (and I've bought DP1 and DP2 as well). Modders are making fantastic looking and driving cars (F3, EGT, FR, etc) but they're largely useless in a game where the AI is as dreadful as it is here. If Kunos thinks they can release AC on consoles in the state it's in now, I think they need to lower their financial projections a bit.

Pause the video at 0:34. it looks like a pace car in the front. I remember seeing what looked like a pace car in one of their screenshots on FB too. Possibly this is coming for the big update

I thought I would be a pretty minor party when I voted for the Ezzy Mk1 but found out quite a few of you thought the same. My second car was a Mk1 Mexico..........and after 30 years of driving I still think it's been the most fun car to drive.

I read it on a website, which informed the readers about the content of an inteview with a guy from Kunos. That was from a video, the interview was in italian so they summarised the information.

Wish some of the talented modding guys in AC would bring the Skippy or the Formula Vee to the sim. Something tells me that those cars would be loads of fun in AC.
