The Audi TT RS VLN will be one of the ten cars coming to Assetto Corsa next week as part of the recently announced 'Ready to Race' DLC pack for the game.

With a mix of some of the most impressive race machines spanning over a number of different generations, from right the way back to the 1990's with the Toyota Celica ST185 Turbo up to modern day times in the form of the impressive 2016 TT RS VLN, the 'Ready to Race' DLC package has been designed to include some of the most requested content for Assetto Corsa by the sim racing community.

Hot on the heals of the recent Audi R8 LMS reveal yesterday, Kunos have been at it again with some new images from the 2016 specification Audi TT RS VLN edition, making it's way to the simulation for the first time and adding yet another performance closed top GT car to the game. Famous in real life for its exploits on the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife, the TT RS VLN is a potent weapon indeed.

According to Kunos, the "Audi TT RS (VLN) has been developed in response to the high demand from customers wishing to use the TT and other vehicles of the brand in motorsport.

The Audi TT RS (VLN) is based on a five-cylinder TFSI engine and features racing-specific new developments in the body, suspension and aerodynamics areas of the car"

The 'Ready to Race' DLC pack for Assetto Corsa will be available on Thursday 18th May for PC players of the title, with a console release expected "to follow shortly after".

Assetto Corsa is a racing simulation built for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The 'Ready to Race' DLC will release for PC on Thursday May 18th, with console versions to follow "in the near future".

Why do all these threads go off topic so ****ing fast ,
This is the only frustrating thing for me ,
I see something cool , come to see peoples opinions ,
Its always about tracks , and garbage ,
Kunos have done an amazing job ,

With what exactly a small 30 man team ? lol ,
Some tracks to scan I can imagine are really expensive ,
Most other games well 99% of other games do not have the same quality in cars ,
Official car licenses for every single car ,
And the sheer amount of scanned tracks is impressive to say the least ,

Truly is the best racing simulator ever created ,
Yes there are loads of small problems ,
But with limited staff what has been created here is sensational to say the least ,

Obviously Kunos know what they are doing ,
Lets just enjoy what they bring and stop wining about crap we dont have and appreciated the content we do .

Certainly a must-have this DLC, but i got a bit bored lately in AC. Steam telling me i have >1650 hours on my account, so maybe it´s just that, but i would really like to see more focus towards Online-racing. Official leaderboards aren´t magic anymore and it´s getting minimal standard. To implement something like the minorating-system just more polished and open to the user shouldn´t be magic as well.

And I don´t need laserscanned-tracks only. The tracks in AMS are as good as laserscanned and some mods in AC are as well like Highlands and Zandvoort. I would keep this standard to the most popular ones, but tracks like Riverside and Bridgehampton doesn´t exist anymore and should be in the vanilla content like VIR.

I can do leaderboard challenges in Raceroom or AMS whenever i like with any car-/track-combination i want and when i f*ck up, i hit restart. And leaderboard-challenges are great in order to check if the pace/setup is competitive and i like the setup-fetching in AMS so i don´t have to start from the scratch. The races here are a bit late and too long for my taste and there are times i don´t want to mess with human "intelligence" at all.

IMO it´s on-topic to write about what´s missing in AC, because 'not enough cars' isn´t a problem with or without this DLC. This many cars should serve more purpose than just driving Nordschleife Tourist. Let´s hope the AI can at least drive with different cars in performance without building up a drive train with the slowest car in front.

If one car maybe takes around 3-4-5-6 weeks depending on the car ,
And most likely tracks take just as long if not longer ,

Then this one single car pack DLC with ten cars as taken at least 12 months of time ,
And this is just 3D Alone ,
No physics No Audio ,
Oh and wait , what about all the coding for the displays , new features , new settings ,
Kunos are writing and developing new coding for most new cars ,
There is a lot of hidden things in making cars and tracks man ,
That obviously no one is appreciating ,

Work it out , this one DLC , Is most likely 2 years work in man time ,
Get realistic with your expectations ,
Yes things can be better and I am sure they will get better ,
Patience is king in this game specially AC .
