CARS is still in alpha stage and cannot be judged as a completed game.

Having Ben Collins (A.K.A White Stig) as a consultant to ensure the vehicle handling and tracks are accurate isn't enough real world feedback either.

Yeah. Ben isn't the best driver.

My point is this: CARS is still in a pre-alpha state, at least 12 months away from release & so it's far too early to write it off.

I would say, the best thing is that they rename it to GTREvo2 because I think they will use the same or a equal carclass-system than in GTREvo with GTPro, GTSport and GTClub. So they will use fantasy series with a real background. Maybe with one or another support series like the FBMW oder the Mini's in Race07/GTREvo.

I´d rather that they name it GTR3. After GTR2 it went downhill fast so i´m glad they are trying to make a new GTR2 rather then the C-versions Race 07, GTR Evo etc.

Good things comes to those who wait, and this is certainly the case for those of the sim racing community. However, patience has been a hard thing to come by for those who have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of in-game screens of the Pagani Zonda R for SimBin’s highly anticipated GTR3.

I don't know yet. Two years ago I would have ticked the yes box immediately but what I have seen so far hasn't impressed me at all especially when you consider that next month its already two years since the game was announced.

Still some months to go until release so lets hope it will be a true successor of GTR2

As long as it's a sim, yes indeed...and I see no reason for it not to be.
In fact, in terms of value for money, ie, most cars and tracks, GTR3 should be the "one", and who knows, we might get another 14-16 ex packs in the next few yrs.
