The question of who the fastest drivers are in the GT5 community is soon to be answered! There's no opposition and no excuses here. It's just you and your machine versus the track.

The time trials will be open to all RaceDepartment members, both licensed and unlicensed. The only requirement to take part is that you own a copy of GT5 and abide by the specific restrictions imposed by the TT. Events will run on a variety of tracks but will make use of GT5's borrow feature to ensure that everyone uses the exact same car with the exact same upgrades. The cars will be supplied by yours truly.

The prize given to the winner will vary but may include items such as cars, helmets, suits and paints, or the choice of car/track for a Club racing event. And of course, you'll win the respect of your fellow drivers. :)

Above you can see a little hint of the car and track that will be used for the first TT event. Stay tuned!

... but how do I borrow the car from you to drive at Monaco? I'm a little new to the borrow feature in GT5.

Again, instructions are in the first post under the 'How to Enter' section.

I must stress that everyone reads the whole thing properly, because if you do not follow the instructions and rules then you will likely end up being disqualified.

Update

Due to the forum migration and the fact that I am on holiday next week, this TT will be extended to three weeks. It will now close on the 6th December. Note that I will not be able to accept friend requests while on holiday, so if you want to take part in this TT you need to send your request before next Tuesday (29th).

I agree that interest in GT5 has waned recently, both here and in other communities. However, I had over 35 people requesting to be added for the first TT, but less than 10 this time. You're saying interest in the game has dropped that much in the space of one week? I personally don't think so. It has to be the car or track, and I'd like to know which so that I can get a better idea of what people want.

The forum migration may have something to do with it, but it can't be the only reason.

I'm afraid tht rules you out of the bonus prize draw then, unless you do another lap and save it. You only have to get in the top ten, which shouldn't be a problem given this events lack of popularity.
